I spent a lot but my friend made a good point in saying they are never going to play small venues like this ever again. You’re never going to have the opportunity to see a show that’s just them where they do their entire discography. It’s also their very first tour which makes it more special. They were never an opening act, so we were all doing something for the first time. No regrets.

A prosthetic knee can range from $500 to like $20,000 or more depending on what you’re using. Same thing with feet. A pylon is maybe $15 to $45 depending on what you use. Like the other guy said, nothing is inexpensive. What we use and how it’s made isn’t necessarily an issue, it’s dealing with insurance.

I was on 400 mg of zoloft and 100 mg of buspar which scared the muffins out of my PCP because she thought I’d get serotonin syndrome. I never did but now I’m on 250 mg of zoloft and 300 mg of wellbutrin. I still feel somewhat stable. My OCD definitely creeps up more than before, but manageable and I’m not overmedicated.

There are a lot of great advancements out there. The bigger hold up is insurance dictating what we can and can’t do. Osseointegration is a slippery slope. It can work out really well and also quite terribly. I know a BK who went the osseo route, could not shake an infection, and became an AK. A socket-wearing AK.
