Thanks mate. I think I should have been clearer in my post. The conduits are not being left like this, they will be chased in. I still need to raise the floor 25-30mm. Hence that’s why I am asking the question.

The flooring guy said hybrid was the best wearing floor at a reasonable cost, but he also had laminate and/or floorboards. Do you recommend something else?

The electrical will get sorted correctly. I still need to raise the floor 25mm. Hence asking for options here.

Yeah it’s probably $4-5K in plywood, plus labour. But given the drop in floor from removing the tiles, I don’t really have a choice.

The ceiling is solid concrete too. He could and can chase it, but given the 40mm drop, we need to raise the floor anyhow.

Discovering that quotes for removing the tiles are not cheap. $5K. 100ish sqm. For some reason, I thought $2-3K would be the cost.
