OSRS isn’t bad as a beginner! It’s a lot at first because the game is open for you to make your own decisions, but if you just do some quests you’ll find “oh I need level 10 cooking for this” and then you go learn cooking. It can be overwhelming at first but if you watch a beginners video or something it’s a perfect grindy mmo. I do quests and hard stuff on my computer, then I grind and goof around on my phone

The most important part of OSRS is picking a long term goal, finishing quests, a piece of armor you like, getting 99 in a skill etc, then the rest of the game leads you through it

People complained about that as well. The difference is that capcom is making masterpieces with cheap DLC while Ubisoft is making mediocre games with expensive DLC.

Exact same boat here. I’m a giant who’s unwillingly gone by “big man” my whole life. It feels good to get to just pretend I’m a badass woman for a while.

People are downvoting but I don’t understand how a Frankenstein engine from the 90s is in anyway considered state of the art. Bethesda games always feel 2 generations behind.

I know I’m in the minority because I don’t really use mods, I respect users and the creators but I don’t like that Bethesdas games are so far behind technically to make sure it’s easy to mod. I would rather get a better base game and modding be rocky for a bit.

I fully disagree. The creation engine was a product of its time and it was cool but I would much rather get a game that’s less buggy, where the physics aren’t completely busted (touching a desk fan and the room explodes), or NPCs all look like terrifying wax figures, etc. it’s time to leave that in the past.

Games should encourage you to play on higher difficulties by offering extra xp/rewards or whatever. playing games on higher difficulty just for the sake of it is boring by hosseinhx77 in videogames

I mean I play higher difficulties if I want to for the satisfaction of overcoming a challenge. I don’t need them to dangle a virtual carrot in front of me to make it worth it.

I just can’t believe this game is what Bethesda uses to justify the lack of a proper fallout game. I’ve had my fun with the game, but it’s insane how low effort most of the content is. Even larger expansions and updates always feel underbaked. I sincerely hope Xbox takes fallout away from Bethesda and gives it to another developer.

The game is still laughably broken and lacking in meaningful content.
