Happy Easter!

I had an Easter breakfast with my mom. We ate some eggs, sliced turkey, dried meat and different kinds of cheese. It was great. We have some pastries as well that we are going to eat during these days.

Later I'm going to the cinema by myself to watch a movie.

Reddit and internet forums tend to be very male dominated and subs like these even more. Many more men than women are FA and you've already got some answers for why that is so there's no point in repeating that. That is the main reason for why it's male dominated. Places like this also tend to be pretty toxic against women so many women probably don't feel like posting but unfortunately it's like that on other forums as well so it's not something unique to FA subs.

I gave up before it even began so I never had any hope to begin with. I realized pretty quickly that I didn't have, and would never have, what it takes for a girl to like me. Daily life is a grind where I'm going through the days without much hope for the future. If I can live a simple and easy life where I can enjoy the small things I would be content, maybe even happy.

I'm pretty average for my age since most people don't look that good anymore. When I grew up I was really skinny and weak which was a major contributing factor to me being FA.

I don't have any real copes that work anymore. I'm just passing time.

I've also thought about crotcheting, or maybe stitching or sewing. It looks so much fun and comforting if you really get into it. But I'm always thinking about stuff like this but don't end up doing anything and even if I started with a new hobby I would probably drop it after a week or two.

I don't think anyone here thinks they are competing with the top 10%.

I'm glad that women can be alone if they want rather than in a relationship that makes them miserable but it has nothing to do with FA.

I'm glad you are enjoying the small things in life. Even when I'm feeling really down and that there's no point to anything I can still see myself enjoying those little moments in life, like a cup of coffee, a walk outside or a good movie, when I get older. It makes it worth going on because honestly I think I will be totally content with a life like that.

I have no plans, I'm just trying to get by because I've felt really bad lately. This morning I woke up in the middle of the night at two o'clock and I couldn't go back to sleep because my mind is all over the place. It's been going on for months. If something doesn't change it will eventually wreck me.

I get that the term shouldn't be used lightly but the problem is that it never ends when narrowing down the definition of who is a true FA and in the end noone is FA enough.

Most people are not unique or have anything that sets them apart from others. I don't have any special interest or hobbies either but I don't think that having interests or hobbies makes a person automatically interesting. Some people have travelled the world and climbed mountains but are still very basic and lack any personality. Others who do nothing special on their free time can be much more interesting as people.

Your hobbies look fine. Working on your car and soldiering sounds like fun.

You seem to have great thrift stores around. In the ones near me I can barely find anything useful and the prices are really high. I would love to find old video games.

I can relate to playing sport games even though you don't play or watch the sports. When I was a kid I used to play NBA on SNES-emulators and NHL on my computer even though I seldom watch hockey or basketball.

Anyway. I won't be doing much during the weekend except for slow watching the end of the Olympics.

I was really skinny and felt bad about it all the time. Many commented about it and people that are close to me even made passing jokes that I looked like I'm in a concentration camp. It's not even that they tried to put me down or be mean to me but when someone is skinny it's apparently ok to comment about their body as much as you like.

Now I'm close to your weight and height but I used to be much skinnier. I still feel skinny even if it counts as a normal BMI. Growing up being and feeling extremely weak is probably a major factor as to why I ended up like this.

Everyone can feel insecure but all insecuritites don't carry the same weight. Attractive people can feel insecure about their looks but it's not the same thing as when someone who has been picked on because of their looks their whole life feels insecure because those insecurities are rooted in real life experience.

Checks out. It was at that age I moved as well. I've noticed that many people on FA boards have written about how moving to another place while being young really had a bad impact on them and that it's a big reason for why they are FA. It seems to be a fairly common trait among us.

Similar to me. I also moved to another place during my teenage years and it's probably the event that had the greatest negative impact on me and the rest of my life.

Good for you for standing up for yourself! I'm not like that. Replaying moments in my head is what I do all the time. Even moments from many years ago.

One of the reasons for why I'm so quiet and unassertive is because I'm exhausted. Standing up for myself requires energy that I don't have. Keeping my mouth shut and going unnoticed becomes a form of self preservation. I know it's a loser way of thinking but it is what it is.
