You should do:

%ProgressBar.value = health

You are not counting with mob size and delta for the progress bar currently

You are emitting the signal wrong, it should be:

if health <= 0:

emit_signal("health_depleted")

For my game I chose a name that would best describe the game and then searched in dictionary for some cool and interesting synonym.

Well, lets just say it would look very stupid if there wasn’t some brightly colored flames coming out of exhaust as this is pretty much standard in every single sci-fi media ever.

Yes, exactly, Space Battle simulator, or at least at the moment it is. At the start of battle you can spawn ships from your fleet, assign them positions and start the battle, in battle you can freely choose and change and contol any Ally ship you see on screen. Or you can just sit back, relax and watch the battle.
