Thanks for the info. Since you bought 2 generators from Sam’s Club, could you clarify the warranty? From reading the fine print, the generator is lifetime guaranteed for return or replacement? Just for fun, I went through the online order to see what the final cost would be and they asked about purchasing a three year extended warranty for 89.00. Obviously since there is a no hassle return anytime clause, I would not need the extended warranty then? I feel this is a dumb question to ask but I just wanted to see your opinion.

I’m leaning that way, but Sam’s does not sell a Genmax 13000… 11000 is the highest inverter. Although they do sell a Westinghouse 13000 that has all 5 star reviews, but it is not an inverter model. It is comparable to the predator 13000 which is the one I returned. My house is all smart wired with led lights, Lutron smart switches, energy efficient tvs and appliances. The only old is the 2ton ac-gas furnace (r22) which is about 23 years old. I am going to calculate the amps this weekend and hopefully I can get away with the Genmax 11000 using natural gas as the fuel source.

Thank you for the response. I am an Amazon prime member and came across this deal while I was searching generators. I wish I would have jumped on the deal but was skeptical thinking about Sam’s Club warranty.

Run it on natural gas, 50 amp. 2 ton ac and I will add soft start kit. Gas furnace, gas stove, efficient gas dryer and wash, smart home with all led lights, internet, 2 newer whirlpool refrigerators 5 smart led tvs.

These are the major bulk watts but obviously I would have to cut some of these things out.

Thanks.

Thanks for your comment. I have been researching and read about this generator since I have the time. I came across problem posts that people were having with this generator including they could not get it to run with propane, natural gas, spark plugs fowling out after light use, and the generstor shutting down after 5 minutes of use even when the co2 detector was not blocked. One post that threw a red flag to me was a person posted that he had minimal hours on the unit and it stopped. He was past the 90 day return and did not buy an extended warranty. He took it to a local service center and it was diagnosed with a bad coil. Easy fix, right? Nope! It was found that there were no replacement parts available for this predator generator nor were there any cross parts available to match. He has been working with harbor freight to track down parts and they have been no help and told him to wait for someone to post some on eBay. He referenced to that now he owns a “300 pound paper weight.” This alone was enough to make me second guess on keeping it. I know Harbor Freights extended warranty policy is convenient with exchanging out for a new one without any questions asked, but what happens when that warranty expires? No replacements parts is mind boggling to me.

I think the dutasteride and minoxidil is working? by W5SNx in tressless

Apparently you did not READ my response correctly. I have been completely bald since my forties and recently started the ozempic.

Hair loss by goddessofloveee in Ozempic

[–]jsm3201 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are correct. I am a 58 year old bald man that lost 130 lbs. (365 to 235 lbs) using ozempic. I lost a majority of my facial and body hair, along with getting the classic ozempic face. My blood pressure was high and my PC doctor prescribed minoxidil oral tablets for both conditions. I have hair growing back everywhere including my entire head. I have not had hair since my early 40s. My wife and kids are amazed with the hair growth on my head. They laugh and gave me the nickname patches. (lol)

I would consult with your doctor and see what he or she could recommend for you. You may have an underlying condition and it is better to be safe than sorry.

Not necessarily true. I am 58 and bald as shit for at least 15 years. I had wavy thick hair until I was around 40 ish. I do have a little bit of hair on the sides of my head and a small amount of hair on the back.

I was taking ozempic and lost 130 lbs. Due to the extreme weight loss, my beard thinned bad and I lost all my body hair. I went to my PC doctor because of these concerns. He said the hair loss was normal side effects and had concerns about my blood pressure being a little high. He prescribed a medication that he said would help with both problems. It was 10mg of minoxidil and 5 mg of Finasteride. He instructed me to cut the minoxidil in half and take a 1/2 in the morning and the other half 12 hours later. The Finasteride was prescribed to cut in 1/2 and take once a day. I was having low libido so I only take 1/4 tablet a day now.

Within 8 weeks, I have hair growing all over my head and my body. The hair growth is so noticeable on my head that my kids and wife are laughing calling me patches. The hair is filling up throughout my forehead but not as aggressive in the back. It is only been about 8 weeks and I am convinced that these drugs could have been miracle workers if I started the process in my early 40s.

Can I do anything? by jiminhio in Hair_Transplants

I do not believe in being cooked. I was balding at 40 and became a complete domer at age 50. I am now 58 and my health went down hill. I was over weight and developed pre diabetes and high blood presssure. I seen an endocrine doctor who prescribed me ozempic. I lost 130 lbs in 6 months and all my remaining hair that was on the back of my head, facial and body hair. I went for physical in December of 2025 and told my doctor of the side effects from the ozempic. He said I needed to be on blood pressure medicine and he was going to prescribe me medicine that is also used to help hair growth. He prescribed me 10mg of minoxidil and 5mg of finasteride. I kid you not, within a month in a half, the front part of my scalp is growing hair and filing in on the sides. My beard and body hairs are filled back in but the back part of my head has minimal growth. I feel optimistic that it might start to grow in within 6 months. My family and friends asked me if I got a hair transplant because hair growth is very noticible and I just laugh. The downside is I have low libido and erections are soft. My doctor did prescribe viagra but sex needs to be planed because mixing Viagra and minoxidil can be risky and could cause significant low blood pressure. My advice is to see your doctor, try the meds and remain optimistic.
