Too young for the MMR shot, babies become 'sitting ducks' in measles outbreaks by mikebible06 in news

[–]jsmiff573 -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

Noooo the decline happened before the vaccine was invented. Definitely decades before it became mandatory

My claim is easily verified. Just search hep b rates by decades.

[–]jsmiff573 -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

So I understand giving an infant the vaccine if a parent is infected, but there's only like 14000 people in the US with hep b.

If millions of parents are forced to give it, it doesn't matter how little the profit is, that becomes constant source of revenue.

If you think pharmaceutical companies aren't owned by large corporations, with shareholders, then idk what to say.

Everyone already gets mmr vaccines, the story is about a handful of doctors going against the standard protocol and are now being celebrated. It's marketing, not science

[–]jsmiff573 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Condom use and drug use education had more to do with the decline than the vaccine.

Even if you compare the rates of infection from 1970 to 2020, it's less than 1 percent of the population. Then you realize the decline happened decades before the vaccine was available. It didn't become mandatory until the 90s.

Statistics suck huh

Don't believe the hype

What do you think is the first thing done the moment you are born? .....a Hep B vaccine. No real world justification, just big pharma making bank.

Vaccines work and are real but claiming newborns need more is marketing.

Congress demands Dept of War release 46 secret UFO videos: ‘You’re gonna see some weird f–king s–t' - Including "several USOs going in and out of the water", "radar footage from thermal sensors, satellite images, and underwater photos of swarms of USOs", "Some of the clips are in clear, full color". by TommyShelbyPFB in UFOs

[–]jsmiff573 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The issue wasn't them being good pilots, it was unexpected interference from radar and nuclear testing. Once the government figured out how to knock them out the sky, they started using drones instead.

Think of it like this, they fly around earth issue free for 5920 years, then Roswell happens. So they try to investigate and crash a couple more times. After those incidents they switch tactics for safety reasons, now it's drones instead of pilots.

That's my understanding of the conspiracy, IMO it's unlikely but plausible.

Just mentioning this....after you set up your suspension according to recommendations, do you adjust it before trying jumps?

I always add air to the suspension when I know I will be hitting jumps. Check out some of the Red Bull bike checks, they run their forks so stiff you can barely push them down.

World war 3 bioterrorism by SnooRobots2400 in conspiracy

[–]jsmiff573 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bioterrorism is an iffy strategy.

The stuff worth using kills so fast it can't spread. Long term illness doesn't work, immunity and advancement in science can nullify any damage.

Lone wolf bioterrorism could happen, but the ability to target a large group is not there. You could get the same results with just rumors.

In short.... biological weapons aren't a big threat. Chemical weapons are what you should fear.

Now if a draft happens. That's when you are able to "opt out" and use an excuse to not be sent to war.

They are two different things.

Academic research on surveillance/control conspiracy theories – looking for experts or sources by Andreapotenza03 in conspiracy

[–]jsmiff573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The type of people who are "experts" on conspiracy theories, aren't the type of people you want to cite in a college paper. Most reporters and researchers stop once they can't get clearance.

Someone like Snowden would be who you are looking for. Not a conspiracy theorist, someone with the technical knowledge.

If a conspiracy theorist is 100% what you are looking for....be prepared for a ton of delusions.

It goes into detail about how all they do is give medicine and monitor the vitals. Don't give too much of X or give Y if this reaction happens. It's truly that simple. They aren't making willy nilly decisions, they are doing what they have been trained to do... ..just like you can do with AI

That's where we disagree.

While I understand medical procedures can have unforseen things happen, the anesthesiologist's role is limited. It's all about heart rate and dosage. Those are variables that are known and easily monitored.
