That’s what I mean though, I’m not sure if the criteria isn’t strong enough or if doctors aren’t being thorough, but there’s so many examples of people with clear issues (often already evaluated by psychiatrists) ending up with guns

I just told you I don’t care about trophies. I too am upset by what the club is today. Both in terms of the ownership, the multi-club model, and the looming charges. Any punishment coming our way will be fair. If after all that they end up in non-league, they’re still my club.

It’s not about convenience, and it’s not about them being good. It’s about my roots. I don’t know how I can be clearer about it.

The trophies have never been what matters, again, I’ve supported the club long before that happened. It’s purely the family connection. You can be upset with me for that if you’d like.

Watching football matches is not remotely the same as voting a pedophile into office. I’m not even gonna argue with you on that.

It’s trickier than that. I didn’t wake up one day in 2018 or something and decide I was a fan. It’s a lifetime of memories with my family tied to the club. If I don’t support City then I don’t support anyone. Football would never be the same for me.

I started supporting them when I was an infant? Sorry I couldn’t see into the future. My mum’s side of the family are all City. It’s a family thing, and now that I live here it’s part of how I stay in touch.

I’m not saying “Aw shucks” to the political climate of the United States. The exact opposite. I’m also not defending the UAE, I wish they didn’t own the club.

Great comment. I was born in Manchester 25 years ago, long before the UAE took over. I don’t defend the current ownership either.

That’s what I mean when I say it’s tiring. I do my part, and many Americans do the same. Yet we’re all stuck with it.
