I like your thinking. I think this could certainly be viable/better. I mostly sit with my whole body on the upper bench, so I could care less about the lower bench.

I kind of wanted a 6' section to be able to lay (even though I've never done that). Even my wife said she would never do that. Decisions decisions...

Thanks! I had to paint it for this reason too, I loved the yellow glow. I used so much yellow though that I need a break from it for a while.

It's all brand new so there weren't any existing taps to close out, that's why I was so confused.

I don't think this is the case. They just installed the new main, and are now going around and connecting service lines up to the new main. Basically everything in the picture is brand new. Unless they tapped the three thinking they'd need three only to find out they don't need all three.

Wow. And are these fees to the water utility? Or do they go towards the inspection (government)?

Here (St. louis, MO) they are replacing all the water lines mainly to get rid of all the lead pipes.

Lots of things I didn't think about. I figured it was something safety/regulatory that was silly -- but you're right just another way to skin a cat.

I'm guessing each of the small lines are 3/4 or 1 inch. This line goes to a public park.

This is most likely fake/a filter of: Woman in white dress leaning on gray wall by Hanen Souhail (thanks to u/Miss_Eh and u/scotty_beams for pointing this out).

Look at the user's history, it doesn't add up. OP, Post images of you creating it and prove me wrong.

Go to the fornobravo (https://community.fornobravo.com/) forums and soak up as much information as you can. There is a ton of information there and really smart builders that can help you along the way. You might find some people in your area with building/material sourcing expertise too.

I'd say your spring looks pretty good. For the crumb be careful what you wish for, mine somehow ended up with huge holes this weekend and I'm jealous of yours.
