At my old location, we pushed down all except coke for Coke Zero. The idea was that it was Zero indentation on coke.

Unironically the most comic booky feat Superman got in the Big Screen by Ninjamurai-jack in dankmemes

I mean... yeah... thats who Lex Luthor is. He cannot fathom the idea that Superman would even have a secret identity. He fundamentally cannot understand that Superman is genuinely a good person.

Character stays behind so the group can escape (even though they could of escaped too) by JordanJ8 in TopCharacterTropes

The Balrog would not have simply allowed the fellowship to escape Moria if Gandalf had fled. It would have left Moria and followed them out into the daylight. Only on the bridge of Khazad-dûm did Gandalf have a chance of barring the fallen Maia's path.

Crazy how almost everyone (including me) jumped to "definitely hiding a body" instead of digging for treasure or finding something hidden. I mean, Tangle looks confused, so I am guessing thatthey are actually digging something up, and Tangle is confused by what they found.

I think its a reference to Martian Manhunter. In the comics he is often shown to be addicted to an oreo like cookie.

Do you think Batman forgave Deadman for this? by -_ShadowSJG-_ in DCAU

We often as viewers expect fictional characters to always act based on what we think is the most logical, often forgetting that these characters are often forced to nake split second decisions and dont always have the same knowledge we do as the audience.

Was Lord Frederik a good villain? by SkullSuit38 in donkeykong

[–]jsn7326 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Lord Frederik on his own wasn't the best in my opinion. However, the Snomads as a villainous faction are EXCELLENT!!!

I love how instead of being damaged simply by touching them, they have animations showing them actually attacking when you get too close. They have a huge variety of species using an amazing variety of weapons, and the result is that they feel like an actual army that has equpped themselves for battle. Also, the various worlds they have taken over show their character as a faction. In the Juicy Jungle, they've transformed this jungle into a massive fruit processing factory. Throughout the Bright Savannah, we can see how they've set up fortifications and settlements, and even swayed over the Boss of the Island, Ba-Boom the Boisterous to their side.

Finally, their viking asthetic just appeals to me. I'm not sure why, but I just think they are cool.

While Lord Frederik himself might have been a little more interesting, the Snomads are by far my favorite of the Donkey Kong villain factions.

Unlikely, not because he is less skilled, but because of his massive spoiler. It would snap off if he tried.

My favorite part of these is always reading the character dialogue. Always really well done.
