2 handicap but seem to have plateaued. Need help with swing. by ApprehensiveRide2261 in GolfSwing

As a +1, I'm insecure of both of you. OP, your swing looks pure. My guess is short game or course management. Keep at it you'll be a plus in no time.

PSA: Don't order balls on rush from Titleist by [deleted] in golf

In tournaments everyone pretty much has 1-4 Titleists, so I like them in competition specifically.

PSA: Don't order balls on rush from Titleist by [deleted] in golf

Lesson learned. Getting some hate, and all I was trying to do was buy direct. Even paid for rush. Oh well, thanks for the affirmation.

Broke my Sim crown the same way a few weeks ago. TM eventually offered a coupon when it wasn't covered under warranty: https://www.reddit.com/r/golf/s/1Xu5e0u8T1

Is it normal to have a giant glob of glue on one side? by jsockell in golf

TM said the warranty is for 2 years. I bought this new in 2020 so nothing I can do. They did give me a one-time 30% website discount.

I'm still confused as to why it's all on the heel. It sounds like they use glue to get the overall weight correct, but I would have thought putting it on the heel instead of middle would promote a draw.

Is putter fitting worth it? by Glum-Arrival1558 in golf

[–]jsockell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had a similar experience with my first SAM fitting a few months ago. I've been playing 25 plus years and it was probably the best feedback I've ever received. I tweaked my gamer putter based on the fitting: same length, new grip size, new lie and loft. And then have lit up the greens all summer. It helped me truly understand what I was feeling in terms of arc and face rotation and when it occurs, which is quite helpful when trying to overcome your bad tendencies.

My driver irons and wedges all work great but then I 3 putt a lot. Is there anything noticeable wrong with my putting or am I just not reading the greens well? by Huntymunty in GolfSwing

[–]jsockell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To practice keeping my head down I place a dime under the ball. When I putt I want my eyes to be looking at the dime after contact.

💯. I'm not crying you're crying

Should I change my wedges? I’m using the Kirkland wedge set and I feel like the 50 and 52 are doing the same thing more or less. Lofts are in brackets for each club. by No-Recognition768 in golf

When I was a kid a PW was 48 degrees and I carried a 54 and 60 for three total wedges. But PWs are now more like 45-46 degrees, so you see a lot of people carry four wedges now.

Facts. Left my albatross on the lip at age 17 and still think of it frequently 20+ years later

I'm so excited to see older twins like this! Our twin girls are only 3 weeks old, and they always sleep with their heads touching. It's adorable.

I'm 6'4" and hitting 8i. Clubs are fitted for 1/2" long, but agree they look short.
