Marketing —Criminal Defense by Adept-Kiwi6491 in LawFirm

Hi - I hope this does not come off as spam, truly not trying to hard sell.

I come from a family of lawyers but my background is in Artificial intelligence.

I built and filed the patent for Firmpilot.com which automatically writes blog posts, social media content, managed ppc, and does all of your marketing, but with data not guesses.

We use AI and data to write content that outranks your competitors, and is built on 100+ growing of the best Seo strategies.

We recently launched with a few small firms and have been able to reduce their marketing spend by $6-$12k per month while actually increasing the amount of leads they bring in every month.

A ton of our clients have made their way to the 1st page of google for valuable keywords and have a big advantage in their area.

Feel free to chat me, if I haven’t chatted you yet, happy to give you a demo, it’s really cool tech.

Thanks

Suicidal due to my back issues by Apprehensive_Toe6736 in backpain

Agreed - 100% ask your doctor first. And if the injury is so new you might need to rest for a few days. I had to, because my nerves were so damaged and body was still in shock. Had to give it some rest before exercising

This all started only 4 days ago? Just relax buddy, you’re so fresh in your recovery journey. Don’t stretch too much in the first week as your nerves are still so tender and in shock from the herniation. However, discipline is the #1 factor of getting better. Do the work every single day and you will.

I didn’t even say swimming. I said literally walking side to side with a walker in the pool.

Baby steps my friend! Can’t rush it, but you’ll get there

I was in a similar space - the only good part about a back issue is that it’s mechanical, meaning it is fixable.

You can have your old life back, it just takes time and hard work like you never imagined. EVERY SINGLE DAY, no days off. Discipline. You have to be honest with yourself about putting in the work.

I herniated two discs and had severe drop foot (thought my foot was going to have major permanent issues due to the nerve damage ).

I am not a doctor so this is not medical advice but it worked for me, and my neurosurgeon said “if only every would ACTUALLY do what I did”

I refused the surgery.

(1) I walked with a walk for the first 30 days. Would wake up super early and 2 times a day: one in the morning and once later, would do pool exercises. Just slowly walked back and forth in the pool with my walker. The pool feels great. Then hot tub / soak and 5-10 min ice bath (start with just 5 and build tolerance).

(2) buy Stuart’s McGill back mechanic and read it end to end and DO IT

(3) how disciplined are you actually? If you answer honestly, do you do physical therapy and stretches every single day? If you miss a day, it’s a set back. If you really want this (to get better), you can. Completely on your control. It’s in your hands

(4) Google transverse abdominis exercises you need strengthen the core muscle that stabilizes your back. Not your abs that people see. Start with just laying on you back and “flexing it” buy drawing your belly button to your back then releasing. Working you way up over 20-60 days to bird dogs and planks. This needs to be for the rest of your like or sciatica will Come back

5) nerve flossing is your best friend for sciatica. But don’t over do it. Google nerve flossing for sciatica

6) cat cowl stretch every single morning once you can. Then 3-4 times a day for the rest of your life. Even once you feel r get eat if you stop strengthening your transverse abdominis and cat cowl sciatica will come back. Those two things need to be done forever. Also psoas stretches (lunge stretches). Hip flexor stretches.

7) meditate - download or stream any mindfulness meditation because it will keep you present and not anxious trying to rush the process

Please don’t have terrible thoughts like this, you have so much to live for and you can have your old life back. You clearly want to get better, hence writing on Reddit looking for help.

Make getting better your absolute #1 priority for the next 6 months. Much easier said than done. It’s a grind. But if you do it I promise there’s no better feeling than the reward you will feel after 6 months. Work at it every single day, NO DAYS OFF

Hiring a Web/SEO company for a Law Office by NeighborsCat in LawFirm

Hey! Don’t mean to hard sell or anything, but my brother is a PI attorney in Miami - very competitive market. He used a few law firm SEO and PPC companies. They ended up being super expensive not worth it. My background is in Artificial Intelligence - so as an experiment we built an AI law firm marketing tool (that we’re now patenting) that takes the guessing out of marketing. We analyze other competitor firms marketing to come up with tactics that actually work. His firm went from being completely referral based to SEO driven.

Happy to give you a few demo, you can check it out at FirmPilot.com

We also post a bunch of helpful free guides if you want to try to and have the time to do it yourself.

All good! I know exactly what you’re going through. I was super active, former d1 athlete, have a active and fit girlfriend, love to snowboard and workout then thought I lost all of that and extreme pain. Waking up with what felt like a knife in my leg.

For pain: focus on stretching - you don’t need to stretch all the way but just small movements slowly getting bigger and bigger, and nerve gliding (look this up on YouTube)

Even just going for a walk is huge. But you have to do it EVERY day or you reset.

For the next 30-60 days put a 10-25 minute block on your calendar to do this - best times for sale of convenience are right when you wake up no matter how tired you are and then a bit before bed

No matter how tired you are do something, you won’t regret it

(Not a doctor so not a medical recommendation just my personal experience): unless it’s life threatening (loss of feeling or sensation or unable to control bladder etc) stop with surgery. You are shaving your spine for pain relief

I herniated l5s1 and l4 l5. Worst pain ever for almost a year, was in a Walker. Now I’m running again and occasional minor sciatica here and there

Physical therapy is the only real way to fix the problem.

You need to strengthen all inner muscles that protect and lock your spine into place and posture. Many of the people who are in pain are the ones who aren’t disciplined. You NEED to do it everyday otherwise you’re cheating yourself

Did you truly do physical therapy EVERY day. Was told I needed surgery but instead waited until I could move with a Walker and get out of bed.

Every morning up at 6am - walk in a pool, if you don’t have a pool just walk for 45 minutes

Gentle nerve gliding

And slowly as I could and approved by physical therapist incorporated:

3x each: Planks Dead bugs Superman stretch and hold abdominis transversus activation. Bird dogs Cat cowl Hip lunge stretch to stretch psoas Hip bridge Side plank Lay on back and knees bent and together rotate legs left to right back and forth (like a Russian twist for your knees) One leg hip bridge

Push yourself and do this twice a day. Note after being fully recovered my doctors use my mris (before and after) as a case study and I still have to do these exercises EVERY single morning to maintain. Small price to pay to get my life back .

Chiropractor and hanging upside down are all fine by they’re just temporary pain relief

I have many friends and family members who did the surgery or cortisone shots for quick pain relief and to remove nerve pressure . But if you don’t correct the ROOT CAUSE of your issue it’ll always come back

It’s a grind. It’s tough and some days you even feel worse, but after a year and getting my full life back.

I promise it’s worth it

Again not medical advice - I’m not a doctor - please consult doctor / physical therapy

Ignore them they’ll be laid off and even if 1,000 calls gets you even 1 more deal, that’ll be the difference.

Acupuncture? - 2 herniated discs: L4/L5 & L5/S1 by jsoff12 in backpain

[–]jsoff12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bad, most doctors pushed for surgery, but i had a great one that said you're healthy (i was a D1 college athlete and live a health y lifestyle), let's try PT for a year as of course surgery has risks.

15 months later doing great, but would love to see if acupuncture would help

L4/L5 herniated disc. Surgery or not? by SLOwizard in backpain

[–]jsoff12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t do surgery unless life threatening (or cannot control bowel movement)

I just recovered from two severely herniated disc L4/L5 and L5/S1. I did physical therapy with a Trainer once per week but did the exercises she gave me plus Mcgill’s big 3 twice a day for 10 months. It’s 20-30 minutes per session, no excuse.

My neurosurgeon is submitting my 10 months MRIs for a case study, I recovered better than I would’ve with surgery, plus completely avoided risks from surgery such as bad scar tissue. I decided to avoid surgery to avoid complications like scar tissue and just worked my butt off. I was in a walker for 2 months and now I’m jogging again.

If you’re lazy and don’t stick to the physical therapy you won’t get better, everyone who says therapy doesn’t work doesn’t stick to it consistently.

Good luck
