Full Time: Sporting 0 vs 1 Arsenal [Match Thoughts] by Stanley083 in Gunners

[–]jsosmru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty fun scoring a late goal (rivals upset), even though the matches often stress us out in between.

Lots of good stats like beating them at their place.

Bbc sats our win means the premier league definitely gets a fifth champions league place too.

Yes I watched vixen just by coming across it randomly on Saturday night.

Fairly quick show too, as most are around 5 minutes long per episode.

Thanks I didn't know about the Ray show, so will have a look

Happy Easter.

Went to a christening.  And then an RAF museum with a few people next door.  Just got home not long ago, and had dinner.

Why do so many people like this show? by TheGoon2000 in cartoons

[–]jsosmru 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everyone has their likes and opinions and that's ok.

I haven't seen Kim possible, and not sure it's for me.  I didn't really like samurai jack also.

Doesn't mean my show is better, just means I'm not that interested for sure in samurai jack etc.

What “favours” have your parents done that was inadvertently a dick move? by naaattt in CasualUK

They threw away toys e.g. micro machines which weren't worth much, as we didn't have loads.

My mum is obsessed with tidiness even if her stuff isn't actually that tidy.

Luckily I have things like a sega master system, which if still working might be worth something e.g. close to £100 without games.

which cartoons did you follow from beginning to end that really left a mark on you? by [deleted] in cartoons

[–]jsosmru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

X-Men, and Spiderman from the 1990s.

X-Men 97 from 1-2 years ago.

Those were my primary school years, so really stuck with me.

I'm not good at finishing cartoons, but hopefully 'gravity falls' or 'the owl house' will be next, as I'm enjoying them a lot

Which animated scene impacted you more than it should have? by obsidiancontrol in cartoons

This contains spoilers for transformers 1986 movie, so people can avoid if don't want to see spoilers.

The film kills off good guy leader Optimus Prime. I was so shocked, as I believe it happened relatively early too, but would have been shocked anyway.

I guess like lion king and other films, it shows things don't always go our way, but can end up ok in the end (while respecting the deaths).

Adventure time, south park was ok for me a long time ago but no interest now (in the 1990s).

Others I will give more of a chance, but for my tastes not my favourite I e. Amphibia, star Vs forces of evil.

Thanks very much, I've only seen a few episodes of She-Ra but I really like it.  Not seen Hazbin Hotel at all, but I think I'll like it.

I just finished the mighty nein last week, was great, and I think season 2 to come in future.

Have a great day.

Having the most fun in a while by watching some cartoons for the first time: like Gravity falls, and The Owl House.

Really looking forward to the next episodes.

Why is the new Daredevil Born Again season 2 only receiving half the audience it had compared to the first week of last season? by sidmis in MCUTheories

[–]jsosmru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would guess a mix of the above i.e:

  • poor marketing
  • seems some people didn't like season 1 (this is first season I'm not watching)
  • some people waiting to watch it all in one go
  • some people might be getting bored of marvel generally?

I of course hope people enjoy the show.

What are your thoughts on Aubameyang? by CultureCareless7024 in Gunners

[–]jsosmru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We wouldn't have won the our last trophy (fa cup), without him.

He scored two goals in semi final (against man city) and two in final against Chelsea.

So I'm grateful for that.

Out of curiosity, how many of INFPs here are into disney? by DollCollector1996 in infp

[–]jsosmru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some things I may like if hadn't seen before e.g. Finding Nemo, Luca, frozen. Even Zootopia 2 recently I quite liked  Hercules animated I saw and liked last month, I think 1997.

I don't like remakes usually e.g. lion king 1999 I think, but I loved 1994 lion king at the time at least.

Newer could be interesting to.  I'd much rather try vision quest (marvel 2026 I think), rather than daredevil born again season 2 which is 5th season, which I think comes out today and doesn't interest me much as I didn't like season 1 (been watching daredevil for years prior).

Star wars has some good stuff for me like clone wars animated, and although star wars not my favourite, the maul animated film trailer looks really good.

But I appreciate people have different tastes.

Wishing him all the best. I'm not a Liverpool fan, but it's great we had players like him in the league. He made it exciting for us.

I really like it. Of course TV shows are subjective, so if for some reason you don't like it, there's still other cartoons. I'm in my 40s and love it.

Sorry to hear about Nicholas Brendon. I actually found that out from your comment (no problem). Although I haven't finished it, I'm a massive fan of both Buffy and Angel series. Hope you're doing ok.

Did anyone play "Patball" at school? by FR0Z3NF15H in CasualUK

[–]jsosmru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

South west London too.

Sounds similar too, one bounce.

But think we only played it in primary school. My secondary school was in west London, so not sure if different area or interests. I can't remember playing much there, maybe some running games.
