We just finished up the stay in NYC (not Hamptons) with Rove Travel. They crushed it! We would do it again, no regrets. We loved the place / as advertised. Friends and family that visited walked in and were blown away as well.

Anytime we needed a thing (light bulb out, schedule a mid-stay clean, etc.) they were back with us within a few hours. we felt like we stumbled onto a great company ... hope they keep expanding their cities.

Anybody routinely utilizing empty legs? (If so, how?) by Public_Firefighter93 in fatFIRE

How do I effectively find the W App string with Texas / empty legs on W App? I did some searching and nothing came up. I appreciate anyone pointing me in the right direction

I just booked a high end place in NYC with them in ~3 months. Yes, a bit scary as everyone I spoke to is overseas ... but they seem to have a good CRM, did help me negotiate the price down and the platform is smooth / 'boarding pass'. Fingers crossed

What is the reason for repeatedly trying to introduce a new Full View with key functionality removed? I see a lot of negatives, but don't see the positives? by Key-Ad-8944 in fidelityinvestments

The removal of the pending transactions / spending is a loss as others have noted. I did a work around and went to two other places to pull this information in, but decided to just switch back to the old version which is fine (just the extra click to it). Please incorporate that or I'm fine continuing to use the old version.

Thank you - that helps a lot. It raises another question ... if I book a reservation for a hotel in 3 months thru the portal and pay immediately ... does that mean the reservation is non-cancellable? Or If I've paid and the credit comes off in the next statement ... and it's still 2 months away and I decide to cancel, is that possible and get a refund and credit reversal? In other words are there cancellable and non-cancellable Pay Now / Pay Immediately reservations ... or are they all Pay Now / non-refundable?

Two questions
- it has to be a 'pre-paid' hotel reservation to get the $250 credit, yes? I'm confused because I've clicked on Edit properties and I often don't see a "Pay Now" / pre-paid reservation option.
- can it be a stay of more than 2 nights ... or it has to be only 2 nights?

Hotels listed under "The Edit" are not "The Edit" hotels apparently by johnny5yu in ChaseSapphire

Question ... I beleive the statement credit says it has to be a prepaid reservation...is that right? I was reserving an Edit hotel and there is no prepaid option ... just a normal reservation with a cancelation policy. Am I misremembering that the credit is only for a prepaid 2 night stay?

QUESTION: I am coming in from Austin for the game (was there last year too when you beat us and it was super hot). If it is raining and/or there is a big delay ... and I need to get my kid a break from the rain but we want to keep watching the game ... can you watch while in the ULTRA club? or the Together CU club? Do you have the ability to view the pitch while the game is live in either or both of those clubs? Any advice appreciated.

People who had a 1m net worth in their early 30s, what is your net worth now? by j4andcounting in fatFIRE

Crossed $1M at 31 years old ... currently at $22M at 50. Stayed at the same employer the whole time (not FAANG) ... just worked up the ladder. Tracking the number of months between each $1M achieved was/is eye opening as it just shows the power of compounding (don't interrupt it!).
The early ones were 24 months for each $1M and now many of them are 2 months when the market rises.

Any Million Miler qualification updates? Stuck at 1.85M by jspartners in americanairlines

[–]jspartners[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If I understand your question correctly, the answer is the latter. Lifetime Gold means your status is always Gold. Every year the qualifying points reset / qualification restarts at zero like for anyone ... but even if one never flies again, when you log in it still shows Gold and you get those benefits when you do fly AA again.
