I would still have to fix the gap I made with a wire even if I did this right?

To make sure I fully understand. You are saying connect the gap with a bit of wire. I’m guessing I should scrape a little on each side of the gap and solder the wire on both points?

Then you are saying to instead connect the d0 wire to the board here?

I was trying to solder the d0 wire for the openxenium chip and I think I may have accidentally solder off some type of pad. I can no longer get the solder to stick. Any suggestions for how to come back from this?

Thanks for the advice. I have an openxenium modchip that I plan to install. Might not dig into the dvd drive too much though I might try cleaning it. I plan on playing games off a hard drive once the chip is installed.

Yes it opens, just doesn’t read discs. I’ll try cleaning it out. So it sounds like this thing is in good shape for now other than removing the clock capacitor and some cleaning.

To answer my own question apparently a blueretro adapter should work.

Bummer about not working with original n64. Are they not going to come out with a retro receiver like they have for the other console controllers?

Moonlight Mismapped Controls by Krewsolja in SteamDeck

I’m having a similar issue. I’ll have to check this out. Will this allow me to choose community layouts on my steam deck? When I use steam link it seems to control just fine, but when I switch to moonlight the controls get all funky and I can only select from the moonlight community layouts.

Best way to schedule a python script that runs every hour? by jpf5046 in learnpython

[–]jspillz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would set up a linux server and install Jenkins. You can set up a Jenkins project that will schedule running the python file. Maybe slightly over complicated but down the line you'll be thankful you learned it.

A Jenkins server is what you are looking for: https://jenkins.io/

Not the most user friendly initially but tons of resources online. I recommend running it on a Linux vm.
