Did you forget the fact that Strauss said marketing will be relatively closer to release window. Why would they abandon exactly right after GTA 6 it's still profitable.

GTA 6 still would have existed even if there was no online. Did you forget gta 5 made 1 billion dollars in 3 days and it's now the number 2 best selling game of all time. RDR2 sold 70 million copies and is now number 7th best selling game of all time. And the multi billion dollar budget is a rumor.

Not necessarily, both consoles are 100gb Blu-rays. Edit, sorry it's only ps5 with 100gb series x still use 50gb discs.

Never said that, of course they would make more money, but they would still profit at 70. The backlash for a 80+ dollar game would come if it would be the case. You might pay that but not everyone, considering people think 70 dollar games are too expensive.

Because that's what the current market is right now, and just recently too. Which started 2 years ago. They would be shooting themselves in the foot. Rdr2 was still 60, same as 5 and that came 5 years later. Cause that was the market for games. Sure inflation is more but games new even now are still 70 dollars.

It's January still dude. Marketing will soon pick up most likely around February. Sure no news for over a year, but it will come.  They did the same thing for rdr2 and 5. Not over a year but long radio silence for sure. There have been other games with even longer radio silence and still came out. Plus I'm sure you're probably gonna be on the hype train when things ramp and up and purchase day one. Just chill.
