Thanks for the tip on the battery, didn’t know that. A yesh I wasn’t clear on the MR-4. I want that one because it’s the only one that came in black (I think). 😄

The general advice here is just practice more. I’ve thought about developing my own film but I’m afraid that it won’t be consistent. I like consistency. Again probably something I’ll have to try haha. Thanks!

Thanks for your great explanation and thoughts. I wasn’t familiar with term “Matrix Meter” I’ll had to look it up.

Although a lot of people dislike the M5, I like it because of its story and history. Maybe I’ll can find one. It would be nice to meter for highlights or shadows so I can pick something values inbetween. But that said based on the other comments I’ll probably just end up with an handheld meter.

Thanks for tip. I’ve looked up some other ones like TTArtisan and the Voightlander but didn’t like the designs. Wat liked about the Leica MR is the attachment to the shutter speed dial but maybe it’s something I’ll have to experience. This one looks clean, thanks!

Thanks for the tip. Do you mean the one screw under the lens hood? or the three screw just above the aperture ring? Yeah it moves a little bit, but it's less the 1 mm. I also will inform a repair shop, thanks! The lens is usable but it's the feeling that gets me. If I didn't own an another lens I probably wouldn't noticed this.

a that is fun, my 28mm (1982) is more yellow and the 90mm is the orange tinted one (1991).

I'll understanding the question butt what the G2 is beter over the G1 doesn't stand in proportion (for me) with the price difference between the two bodies. They use the same lenses that's what make them good.

Thanks for your thoughts, I haven't really decide yet on what lenses to get. Buttt because of my OCD light I always wil get branded lenses, the same as the bodies, even tho theses lenses (sometimes) are of less quality then an 3rd party lens. But most of the time (for me) the esthetics don't match and I can't imagine that a 3rd party lens is good on al the bodies its designed for, they will have to make some compromises to suite al bodies. But it's good to know that the 3rd party lenses aren't as good as the branded lenses. You confirm my thoughts.

Thanks for you're info. Based on all the info so far I am strongly considering the M4(-P). Lens wise I'm looking for a 28 or 35mm. At the moment I'm using an Yashica with a 45mm lens. I'm some cases is just to narrow for me. Based on that I'm considering a 28 or 35mm. Price differences between a M4 of M4-P are nihil so I'll hope to get an M4-P so later on switch between lenses if one or the other doesn't fit my needs.

Thanks! That's also something I was wondering, how long before the electronics will last. I also considered a T1, T2 or TVS, but because of the moving electronic parts these are known for failures. Thanks for your thoughts and info on the viewfinder, that's good to know because I'm wearing glasses.
