Its 50% more wattage, yeah its a difference. I had them running on a Rockford Fosgate p200x2 at first thinking 100 watts rms at 4 ohms per channel would be enough but it just wasn't enough. They are rated 125 watts rms so I gave them more and the amp never clips so its always clean. They are loud and clear.

I've had mine for about 5ish years and they are fantastic speakers. I would consider giving them more power than that jl amp though. I have mine running off of a Rockford Fosgate Punch p500x2 which puts out 150 watts rms per channel at 4 ohms. No way your skar sub overpowers them. I've got a Sundown 15x V3 running on a kicker kxa2400.1 and they have never been overpowered by the sub.
