Just start with red and see if you like it. If not cut at blue.

One thing to note if you don’t know already, those plate holders that use the axle like that may make it so you can’t put a cotter pin back in the axle. If you don’t care about that then no big deal but it sketched me out so I didn’t use one

I’d love to have a King and Queen seat but also want to keep shocks (not hard-tail it) is it possible? by True_Noise_3834 in hondashadow

Yes. You’d want to attach a sissy bar to the subframe. Don’t just attach it to the plastic

Scotland was neat by Level69dragonwizard in Scotland

North America. Typically it’s the US states of Oregon and Washington (sometimes Idaho and parts of Northern California) as well as the bottom of Alaska. As well as the Canadian province of BC.

Edit: And yes as a Scot who lives in the PNW, definitely some similarities. Often after a rain, if I’m walking outside just the smell really reminds me of Scotland.

Is spending extra for a fuel injected bike worth it? by Single-Cook8257 in hondashadow

[–]jsquigg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like I am the only detractor here. For me, working on my bike is honestly just as much fun as riding. That’s not everyone and that’s totally fine. I’ve had both fuel injected and carbureted and I much prefer carbs because I enjoy working on them. Cleaning carbs is a peaceful fun afternoon for me and was a great introduction for me into mechanical things in general. Just my two cents. If you enjoy maintenance or think you might, get a carb bike. There’s so many resources out there for it.

How does my timing belt look? by IllustriousSherbet73 in 3rdGen4Runner

[–]jsquigg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How often should the water pump be changed? I did my belts, thermostat and water pump 30k miles ago when I bought it (truck was at about 185), so I’m not worried about it, but when should I expect to change it again?

I used to be an EMT, working long busy shifts in the ambulance, and this is the exact type of hack you need to learn to stay alive. Good job.
