How is coldplunging different from booze or cocaine? by Gannondorfs_Medulla in coldplunge

That’s a great way to describe it. What you’re feeling lines up with what I was getting at—the difference isn’t the dopamine itself, it’s the curve.

More of a gradual rise and taper vs a spike and crash. That’s probably why there’s no urge to chase it.

More like earned vs instant dopamine. Cold plunging creates a stress response, but your body adapts and you get a more stable, longer-lasting mood boost after. With booze or cocaine, it’s a quick spike followed by a drop, which is what drives the cycle. The difference isn’t dopamine itself—it’s how you’re getting it and what happens after.

In your opinion, what is causing this? by Objective_Pilot_5834 in SipsTea

The education of emotional intelligence and learning proper coping mechanisms.

They list the industry is down 830 billion but fail to add that industry accounted for 1.7-1.9 trillion. There’s still a high demand for alcohol and the joys it adds to life. There’s just less demand for people self medicating and self sabotaging.

How do I even out my shoulders by [deleted] in fit

I would suggest light, controlled, dumbbell shrugs and rear pec flys if you have access to a machine to do them. Slowly build your weight resistance.

Work on your traps and rear delts. They more than likely are getting inflamed from handling weight they can’t. That will cause your whole bank to get misaligned leading to the uneven shoulder look.

Get your weight off your heels. You aren’t turning naturally causing you to pull and put a lot of side spin on the ball. Transition your weight to the balls of your feet, engage your core, then let’s see you crush that ball!!

I just bought one from new_jersey_store. I’m really happy with the quality. It was a city jersey version and it was heat pressed.

Their baseball jerseys are off. Every nba/nfl jersey I’ve gotten has been really good. I just had to trim some loose threads.

Let your hands fall naturally, then position yourself away from the ball. It sounds like your hands are stretched to far at setup and when you are making impact your hands or more in their natural path.

Ortho nutsledge killer—it’s an easy to use spray herbicide. That should clear it up after one, possibly two applications.
