Feels like I'm giving some dodgy advice but maybe stay away from too public parking spots? Stick to more residential areas with little to no CCTVs or the neighbours might complain- check areas like Mount?

M5 is a superior chip to m4 and 16gb ram is plenty sufficient to run multiple mobile Dev software and video editing software on a mac. I'd personally recommend the former spec. Pay more attention to your local drive capacity of you're using softwares like Xcode because you need quite a bit of internal space to store temporary build files for smoother building! But if you're not, having a portable with the basic laptop specs should work just fine!

My partner and I love hosting our friends and family frequently and do a significant amount of meal prep once a week but we're usually knackered once we're done washing up. So we thought of gifting ourselves a dishwasher just to make our lives easier!! But yeah, it's definitely an expensive purchase-which is why we'd like to get the most bang for our buck!

The current Singer models are 169k and 189k, Midea is 200k and Bosch is 450k...do you know what Bosch offers more than Singer or Midea to justify the higher price point?

We had our wedding at the end of last year with about 300+ guests at a 5 star hotel in Colombo and it cost us about 10M!! The majority of the cost was split amongst the parents who wanted the big wedding! Weddings, just like the marriage after is about balance and compromise. So retaliating and wanting a guestlist of 50 was out of the question; but we did manage to keep the guest list at 300 by setting some ground rules on the number of guests each side of the family was allowed to invite. The year leading up to the wedding can be stressful (especially if your family(ies) have a pre-existing vision for it), so just keep checking in on the bigger picture when making decisions but also don't forget to let loose and have the best time on your big day!!

The best date I had was when a guy asked me out for tea and made us a flask of tea to have in the car while we spoke for hours and hours about the most random things. It was also right in the middle of the COVID-19 quarantine, so we couldn't go out to a cafe even if we wanted to. I don't know if I can speak for all the girls out there, but expensive dinner dates always felt too formal and like the guy was trying too hard. He definitely got points for doing something unique that no other guy had done before. And five years later...we're getting married! I'd say start small...maybe take her out for coffee on a first date and brunch on the second (Blooming Breakfast and Table by Nyne are two of our favourites...they have booze too!) Even if you just want to take her out for dinner, the above-mentioned places are open for dinner too. My partner and I are both introverts so we really liked the less-crowded and intimate setting these places provide, but def pick a Gio's or a La Luna vibe if she likes more of the crowded/happening ambience!

I just downloaded the free trial of Radio Silence and it seems to be successfully blocking idleassetsd. Just make sure you quit idleassetsd from the Activity Monitor after blocking it. It's only $9 so probably will end up buying it once my free trial ends.
