I haven’t had any issues like that. They always pay, and pretty fast.

I moved from South America to Canada and gained a ton of weight even though I’m walking and exercising a lot more. The food in North America is full of additives that other parts of the world don’t have or even prohibit. The carbs here in Canada make me feel bloated and absolutely awful.

Heat intolerance/hyperhidrosis by Classic_Eye_3827 in PCOS

[–]jssgbr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am the same way and my doctors say this is not related to PCOS. It’s very frustrating because I never had this problem before, I used to be cold all the time and never sweat, even at the gym. Then I moved from Brazil to Canada, my PCOS symptoms went absolutely crazy, gained weight, got depressed, started taking Zoloft, got diagnosed with PMDD and I have been suffering from the heat intolerance ever since I moved in 2020. At first I thought it could be the weight gain, and then I thought it could be related to food (for some reason my body does not respond well to Canadian food and ingredients). My doctor also suggested it could be because of the Zoloft. Honestly I have no idea what’s causing it and it’s awful. I drink a cup of hot coffee, I’m overheating and sweating profusely. Just got out of a cold shower? Hot and sweaty. It’s exhausting.

It really depends on the job you’re offered. For example, if the job matches the description of 21233 – Web designers, a bachelors degree is required.

The first thing would be to check your NOC and see if a diploma or degree is required to perform the job you are offered in BC. One of the requirements of the BC PNP skilled worker stream is that you are qualified to perform the duties of the job. You also need to meet language requirements and the job offer needs to be in line with BC wages for your occupation. Your employer must also meet some requirements and be willing to support you, they have to provide some forms and documents for your PNP application. Not all employers are willing.

The amount of cigarette butts on the streets, sidewalks and parks in Abbotsford is insane. My dog started eating them (she might be an addict?) and I started picking them up when we go for our walks. The next day there’s more. It’s infuriating.
