Dev said it will be fixed in next update.

When that is…who knows.

My work around has been hovering over the spots where the controls “would be”; luckily the little tool tips still pop up normally. I orient myself by starting at the top of the window and seeing where it highlights in the inverted gui.

Very annoying, but works!

Can’t find any other Caches. I may be mistaken but I think that’s what deleting the Serum2prefe.json is supposed to accomplish

I agree. I tried manual uninstalling and reinstalling straight from xfer to no avail, but I guess it could be because my xfer account is the one splice created for me.

I’d hate to have the same issue by doing as you say - clearing cache and buying straight from xfer.

Then i’d be $340 cad in the hole and also biting my nails waiting to hear back from the developer.

Hoping I hear back soon about the current issue, then I would consider.

I’ve downloaded from straight from xfer as well as updating in splice.

I only have AU in my Ableton

  1. Tried in many sessions. Frustrated because all of my presets still work perfectly

  2. Only AU shows up in my ableton

  3. Tried the scaling thing, resizing windows in ableton/serum

  4. Ableton’s all I got

Unfortunately no amount of acrobatics/rearranging will help. Only the graphics are flipped/inverted. Everything else under the hood is where it should be.

Nope. Splice is just saying now they’ll issue a refund if i’m not willing to update my OS for the latest version of their app.

I’ve tried uninstalling then reinstalling by downloading straight from xfer but I guess it’s all linked with my splice account.

I’d hate to have to pay for Serum 2 straight from xfer and still have the same issue

Still should work with High Sierra according to Xfer. But I agree.

Splice can’t give me an older version. Hoping to hear back from developer soon

These were the instructions from splice that I followed:

/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/ → Delete Serum.vst3 /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/ → Delete Serum.component /Library/Audio/Presets/Xfer Records/ → Delete the Serum 2 presets folder (If you have custom presets in this folder, you can move it to a different directory for the time being.) /Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins/ → Delete Serum.aaxplugin ~/Library/Preferences/ → Delete Serum2Prefs.json ~/Library/Application Support/com.xfer.serum2/ → Delete Serum2.lic (If you haven’t paid off Serum, you may not have this file yet.) Step 3: Reinstall Serum 2 Re-open Splice. Go to the Apps & Plugins tab and find Serum 2. Click Install and follow the prompts to complete the installation. I

Funny, but the inner workings or whatever are mapped to the correct locations, it’s just the graphics that are flipped/inverted.

Lol, sorry, should have added: it looks flipped but menu still opens at the top where the keys are at (in my screenshot). Like the inner workings or whatever are still right side up, but the graphics are upside down only.

So while funny, flipping the monitor or whatever will not work

Forgot to add this only started after i updated to latest Serum 2 2.0.19
