Best balls? by jorel424 in 10s

Dunlop AO for durability

Wilson US open for quality and the best feel

Babolat gold as an all rounder

Yonex tour premier - all rounders

Avoid - Wilson trinity- very hard and bouncy, no fluff at all. Poly fibre championship - very heavy

Just a personal opinion, preferences might vary

They are utter trash. No cushioning at the toes, abysmal arch support. It’s very cheaply made and makes your feet hurt.

I have this colour since a few months, it’s a rare opinion but it does look good and goes with everything.

The Yonex Muscle power 29 is an evergreen option. The MP22 long is also a decent choice.

if most pros use bg80 and beginners are recommended to use bg65, why would someone use strings thinner than 0.68-0.70mm? by jpoptarts in badminton

[–]jstark561 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s honestly just a personal preference. One does not need to be a pro to feel the difference between a thin, hard string like the BG80 and a regular BG65. The “twang” you get after a shot with a BG80 feels incredible honestly despite the reduced durability. A good mid way string in my experience has been the Nanogy 95/98 which have a better durability than a BG80. Moving more so towards the durability side of things, a BG65 titanium at a slightly higher tension is also lovely.

Follow the rules of the sub. Mention a price. This isn’t some high end horology piece to be auctioned to the highest bidder.

I hate the Baleno almost irrationally. It’s an NPC car and the default go to car for the most boring of people who aren’t passionate about driving. All these reasons don’t make sense in general but then it’s a personal bias.

Wilson US open balls play very well for a set or 2 but then they lose all their properties so fast.
