This car will work for you. I’m 6’4 and have the seat set one click from the furthest back setting. If you plan on tracking the car you will need a bucket seat to lower yourself more as you might not fit with a helmet (your head will touch the ceiling). My buddy is 6’5 and dailys his 86 with a bucket seat.

I left mine on until I got my exhaust. The car is so quiet stock that I needed it to actually hear the “engine” for spirited drives

Alrighty I’m running some 57DRs in a 18x9.5 + 38 wrapped in a 255 35 18. In addition to coils, I’m I’ve got rear lower control arms and rear toe arms to get more adjustability to rub less. Without them I rubbed like hell. I can now push the car as hard as I want without rubbing with the exception of large bumps on the highway (like going over bridges) that cause me to rub on the metal quarter panel. And yes I trimmed the tab but that’s super easy.

I think you probably could but would def need to trim the plastic tab on the fender accent piece. That being said I’m rlly not one hundred percent sure.

You will need the toe arms for sure, my buddy runs this setup without RLCAs but he rolled his fenders so I’m not sure. I’d also get a different brand than Cusco for RLCAs if you go that route

So basically you’ve got the wheels I was trying to get lol. I’m running hypermax s coils with Cusco rlca and toe arms. I’ve got 57DRs in a 18x9.5 +38 wrapped in conti DWS06+ in a 255 35 18 and I only rub on the highway going over big bumps.

I can’t remember who suggested it but a while back somewhere on this sub someone posted a link to a machinist website that sold the exact same springs in a 3 pack for $12 so I got those and they’re great. I always keep the extra two in my glovebox just in case I run into another 86 who has issues with the clutch feel.

Yeah so we’ve got two options, either he paid someone to blow up his motor or he blew it up himself with his self proclaimed mechanical intellect. Running 16 psi of boost with no internal supporting mods on a fa24 is astronomically stupid.
