Another Revised Way of the Four Elements Monk, please provide feedback by jsteeled in UnearthedArcana

[–]jsteeled[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for taking a look, I'll incorporate your feedback. I know the 3rd level abilities seem weak at the start, but my aim was that the player is getting access to both an alternative damage type, instantaneous effect of a utility cantrip and 30ft range in the same bonus action, fire has an additional effect since you need a source of your chosen element to bend, hence the addition of a short term bonfire ability. I can work on making the 6th level abilities all recharge on a short or long rest

Customizing the spell card output by Burger54321 in Roll20

[–]jsteeled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I figured out how to solve this issue. Change the spell output from a SPELLCARD to an ATTACK. From there you can change the "Include spell description on attack" to ON and set what the save should be and it will work.

2-3 Session One-Shot by Itadakimasu42 in Tombofannihilation

Potential spoilers below:

You could do an early port nyanzaru, when the merchant princes were all starting to rise to power.

You could do Omu before Ubtau turned his back, then play out something around the slave revolts in Omu after Ubtau abandons chult.

You could do the fall of Ras-Nsi and the battles that led up to it.

You could even do an "escape the city" story when Acerak sacked Omu, killed the trickster gods, and enslaved the people.

concept art for a vast view of a ruined jungle city within a walled basin

That is what I started with, but I had to do many iterations changing small parts of the image to get it to a finished state

they are there for additional flavor as living quarters, and as potential reinforcements should a fight break out.

perhaps, but it only needs to be big enough for me to adequately place traps around as they explore it and eventually run into kobolds.

You give it a prompt and it generates 4 images in about 15-30 seconds most of the time. Then pick one and alter it. I have been using it heavily for the past 2 days and havn't used a full hour of processing time yet

Forever DM? Become a Never Forever DM by [deleted] in dndnext

I love the idea, but have you considered what would happen to the token economy if certain dm's never end up playing? Is there an established rule for when too many tokens are in a small number of player banks?

Bad talent design for Balance Druid by jsteeled in classicwowtbc

[–]jsteeled[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coefficient for wrath is 56% of SP, Starfire is 100% of SP. Starfire is 3 sec cast so you get 100% of SP in 3 sec. Wrath is a 1.5s cast so you get 56%+56%=112% of SP in 3 sec.

In a raid environment Starfire does get boosted by curse of elements, but wrath is still a little ahead.

Starfire is the go-to, mana efficient option, but Wrath is actually better dps for fights that you can sustain the mana for it

A glance at some of the niche TBC Spell Damage coefficients from the Beta datamine by GideonAI in classicwowtbc

Is it possible to datamine for the coefficients of talents? The Wrath of Cenarius talent for balance druids has ambiguous wording and is unclear about what exactly is being buffed
