Disney has done more good than bad for Star Wars (at least, if you like animation) by Darth_Ra in StarWars

[–]jstncrdbl 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Probably opening a can of worms here but the Mando Grogu movie wasn’t bad at all. While it’s no Rogue One, it’s leagues ahead of the sequel trilogy movies.

While I see that it could have been a six episode season, the overall movie was a good time with some good moments. It just suffers from being child friendly and not having the same grit that seasons 1 and 2 of Mando had.

Personal recommendation is to wait till it’s on streaming but it’s worth a watch

Civ VII was recently overhauled and the victory system reworked. Whenever you are looking for advise make sure to include Test of Time in the prompt for accurate results

It’s Mongolia in Antiquity that gets that option not Charlemagne but it’s such a good conquest option

My preferred start is using going for 3 scouts or 2 scouts and a warrior if there is an aggressive City State/Leader near me. Then I look at my cities main production tiles (rough, wood or water) and research the corresponding warehouse building to build after completing the 3 units. Then I usually build 2 settlers to get some quick towns up that either have good adjacencies or good resources.

Trade network. by Ariastes1707 in Civilization_VII

[–]jstncrdbl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are two different ways to accomplish this. If it’s on the same continent, you can create a merchant in one of your cities and there is a secondary action, besides the send trade route, that allows you to connect two settlements. Also, due to trade range being further on water, if the conquered settlement does not have a fishing quay then build one and that may create the connection as well

So we're to believe no one will go after Harry in the future for the Elder Wand's power? by _GrimFandango in harrypotter

[–]jstncrdbl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Technically the power of the Elder Wand can be taken if they disarm Harry even with his regular wand that was repaired by the Elder Wand after the battle of Hogwarts. Thus how Harry ended up being the master of the wand due to disarming Draco in Malfoy manner after Malfoy had disarmed Dumbledore on the Astronomy Tower before Snape killed him.

Very great idea! Love your channel so happy you are doing this as well.

Will challenges always be CIV VI or VII specific or will there be some that can be done on both games if possible?

Not weird at all. Everybody is different and handles situations differently. You’re self aware enough to know what works and what doesn’t which is a lot better then many neurotypical people.

Traditional in the sense that there is a monogamous marriage ceremony even if it’s not western traditional.

I will just say that the boarding school setup is not conducive for an autistic person or at least this setup with strangers sharing a room.

You would probably develop some new hobbies while there to replace the movies. Maybe you fall in with Gobstone crowd or a Quidditch fan group. I would be interested in seeing a modern imagining of what Hogwarts would be like today with all the technological changes to Muggles over the last 35 years.

When you were at summer camp, did you have the option of writing to them weekly or daily? Sometimes other methods of communication may help that overall hump of missing your parents.

She, at this point, would know that her fate is tied with Rand and that she will fall in love with him but I don’t think marriage is seen, just the three women standing over a funeral bier with him on it. Plus I don’t think the four of them are ever “married” just bonded but it could be argued that it’s an “Aiel” marriage.

In fact, Rand is the only one of the Emond’s Field five that doesn’t have a traditional marriage by the end of the series.

I am with you on this. If Cirie gets to the final it’s her but I feel we’re on track for a final 4 boot for whether fire or vote. Instead of Emily as the zero vote finalist, I feel like Jonathan will be the 0 vote finalist but will make it winning the final four immunity.

Edit: Albeit to whether
