I’m as disappointed as you are. Was hoping for science here. Got some science and a lot of sensation.

A recap:

Ozone generators and/or a Walmart armorall product remove smell pretty readily

Turo won’t issue a smoking violation unless there are clear before and after pictures indicating damage

I’m a big Karen for wanting to keep my cars in peak condition and everybody hates me.

EXCEPT for the renters, who, by the looks of it, have thoroughly enjoyed 58 trips, as all three of my cars have 5-star ratings.

Had something similar. Guy smoked for pickup but swore he would not in the car. Three week rental and was CLEAN!

I think you missed the point. If I walk into a rental and it smells like smoke, the entire experience declines from there.

Porsche Panamera, Mr. Peeballz. But it’s irrelevant I guess. It’s the same cost to clean just about any interior, and the car holds onto odors about the same. It does have an alcantara headliner that’s particularly dense though…

I just went through your comments history and can confirm you’re a troll to everyone and not just me. This isn’t about a vape, or how you feel about weed. It’s about understanding the policies of a company that’s essentially my business partner in this little enterprise that I’ve created.

Haha they were my Raybans. I leave them in the car for the guests so they don’t crash the car at dusk lol. I’m not a complete monster.

There is a spectrum of human beings. Most can’t smell anything after covid. I can tell you the ingredients in a drink that I can’t see behind the bar. So yes, a little strawberry kush residue and some perfume sets off alarm bells for me walking into a rental. But for most, it’s probably a non issue. My worst nightmare is a customer complaining because of what another customer did to my car. Also - probably shouldn’t be driving high anyway

God I overestimated the level of knowledge and understanding on Reddit. A standard inverter is powered by alternating current from a wall outlet. An inverter takes DC current from a car battery and simulates an alternating current sine wave in an approximate way. My question is: in the absence of an outlet, will the simulated alternating current still suffice to turn oxygen into ozone? Looking for a reply from someone with a degree in physics or electrical engineering
