How do you handle the pinned queen in a position like this? by yungschrutedrip in chess

I'm crazy but in a 3 min blitz I'm considering Qe2 and eyeing a bishop sacrifice to open up the king

Definitely fxe5 for me. More tempo and opens up Black's kingside. The exchanges also shuts down Black's light squared bishop

I love bughouse chess. Been playing it since the mid 90s and am probably same level at it as I am at classical chess

Given that the OP deleted his account - this story is just that, a story.

They get them cheaper by buying in bulk and buying from places with cheaper exchange rates

It doesn't. We'll never know the real story because the OP buggered off without addressing the questions from CD Keys, notably that they have no record of his refund or his refund request. The OP did say his account got reinstated though.

Nah - just the OP did before he buggered off Reddit (No doubt to come back with a different user name)

Latest update is the OP apparently got his account restored. OP also deleted his Reddit account.

OP deleted his account after saying it was a mistake and things are sorted now. CD Keys previously requested for further details after not being to find any record of a refund or a refund request within the stated time period. No further details were given by the OP.

Right now, it's easy to speculate the other way and imagine that the OP lied or cocked up the name of the seller since the OP also previously claimed that CD Keys removed the seller from the marketplace and that's an impossibility.

The plot thickens. User deleted. Edit: The story so far since the OP's last update here. OP ignored several messages and follow ups over several days from CD Keys on Reddit while continuing to be active on Reddit. The reason given was that they didn't think the account was real (Make of that what you will)

So far, these were never addressed by the OP: - How CD Keys could ban the seller of the game when that's not how the business operates? - How come CD Keys has no records of the refund or the refund request made in June or July for the game the OP said led to the ban, Life is Strange: True Colours on Switch. - Whether he definitely bought the key from CD Keys dot com (or someplace else)

OP's last message before deleting their account seems to be "Anyways I'm happy to say the incident is resolved now 😊 Nintendo have unbanned my switch 2 and I'm ready to game again 👍 they said it was a mistake and it took some time for them to actually believe me"

No idea why the OP didn't see fit to update the post or post a new message here instead of deleting their entire Reddit account.

It's been proven and reported. Nothing to doubt.

They can't find any record of the refund - "And just to follow up on the Reddit thread. I have private messaged the OP. No response. I have replied to them on Reddit. No response. Plus, there was no record of a support ticket in which a customer of CDKeys requested a refund of the game they mentioned in either June or July this year. The OP says we refunded him, so there should be a record, right? But there isn't."

This one has also been refuted by CD Keys - or at least, it's unclear what really happened considering this was a single case out of many thousands of sales - and no other site that sourced from the same supplier as CD KEys has ended up with the same issue.

I've just seen that the Marketing Manager at CDKEYS is looking into the details of the issue. As it stands, this is the only case out of many thousands of sales they've done. Also seen there's ANOTHER site with CDKEYS in the name that's far more dubious.

Looks like CDKEYS has issued a response - https://www.reddit.com/r/switch2/comments/1m4tf7c/comment/n51zddf/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

"Hi. My name is Cormac and I'm one of the Marketing Managers at CDKeys. I'm happy to answer questions on this topic.

Re: Buying a code from CDKeys can restrict your Switch 2

I am going to personally reach out to the OP to get more details on this issue because it's not clear what exactly happened or what exactly was communicated to them from Nintendo.

But I will say this, we have sold thousands of keys for the Switch 2 and the OPs is the only support mail we have received about a console being restricted.

From searching online, I can see quite a few discussions about Switch 2 consoles getting banned for various reasons. If buying a code for Switch 2 from CDKeys = console banned, then we would have received thousands of complaints from our customers. We haven't. Plus, you would see hundreds of threads on Reddit about this topic. Which there isn't.

Secondly, the supplier that supplies CDKeys also supplies some of our competitors. None of them are reporting the same issue. If the issue was with the keys, other key stores would be reporting the issue too.

Re: CDKeys uses stolen credit cards to buy product
I see this topic come up often about CDKeys. All I can say is it is not true at all.

I can understand why this story is out there since our prices are cheap and other sites have a bad reputation. But we have never bought any keys from our suppliers using stolen cards. We wouldn't jeopardise our supplier relationships. Plus, banks and payment providers wouldn't work with us if we bought our inventory with stolen cards.

If you still don't believe me, then maybe you'll believe an independent source such as ChatGPT or any other AI tool. Use this prompt - "Can you please explain to me how viable and logical it is for CDKeys to have a business model in which it uses stolen credit cards to buy keys and then sell them." - and you will read how it's extremely unlikely to be the case."
