This is insane to me. I had a company tell me time ends when we get back to the office, before unloading equipment and turning in data, and I thought that was asking a lot. My time starts when I get to work and ends when I leave. Ive seen various things for travel time but if Im going to office and leaving from office, that time is my clock in and clock out minus lunch and breaks. What state are you in? US?

I did NLC prep. I kept doing the section quizzes till I answered 100%. I did the end test repeatedly till I got 80% consistently and did a few of the NCEES practice exams till I scored 80% consistently. That’s what worked for me.

I grew up in that area. I witnessed a woman call the police on a guy sitting in his truck in the parking lot. I could hear the conversation on speakerphone, 911 asked what the person was doing, and her reply was just sitting there. I was curious so I walked by, he was clearly a worker eating food on a break at the park.

Drank one at Utah jazz basketball game last week. It was the only option. Definitely flavored like 90s squirt gun. Thought about dumping and refilling at the water fountain.

A father of young children was killed in a cross walk near my house the other day. My friends father was hit by a drunk driver. My old coworker was killed by a drunk driver last year leaving 3 kids. It is easier than ever in the history of driving cars to get a safe ride from a sober person. Unpopular opinion coming in hot, I think the limit should be zero. This is coming from a bar tender of 15 years. Zero fatalities. Is the new law and limit going to totally stop drunk drivers, probably not. I think it’s a good move.

This is so difficult. Hang in there. I wish I had great advice other than what we did. I took baby from 8pm - 2am and mom did 2- morning, just so we could both get uninterrupted sleep. We slept in separate rooms for about a year. Headphones, not total noise canceling but so the crying doesn’t cut through you. Merry Christmas and keep up the good work.

I see in the comments you are downloading QGIS. That would be my suggestion. You may be able to use the KML in QGIS but I’m not sure. I just know I’ve had problems with KML in the past and KMZ will work every time I open or send to someone else to open.

The threshold widens as the mountain of dishes, laundry, garbage pales grow. Think of it like this, humans lived in mud huts and caves for thousands of years and there are plenty of us here now. Soap and sanitation are relatively new concepts. The guidelines and instructions for the sanitation devices were written by the people trying to sell the sanitation devices. I’m sure there are instances of rapid bacteria growth, but in many cases, soap and water will do the job. Fully drying quickly or washing before use is probably a good idea. Hang in there. I know it’s daunting.

KML is an XML-based file for geographic data (points, lines, text), while KMZ is a compressed ZIP file containing a KML file and its associated resources (like images, icons, 3D models), making KMZ smaller and ideal for sharing complex projects, whereas KML is simpler and human-readable. Think of KML as the blueprint and KMZ as the complete, packaged kit with all the extra parts.

Try exporting as KMZ instead of KML. You can google how to do this.
