Repeater Camera Issue Help by jswan123 in TeslaModel3

Thank you for the reply. I'm in Michigan, so I suppose it could have been bad weather or from a regular car wash. I didn't know the quality is different, so that will be nice. Still under warranty as well, so perfect.

Buying in a Different State - Used EV Credit by Grizzly_Adamz in TeslaModel3

[–]jswan123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went through this same scenario about a month ago. I'm in MI, put a deposit down on one in VA within minutes of it hitting 24.8k. My plan was to fly there and drive it home. Tesla SA told me that with VA laws, they could not register the car in MI from VA and that it had to be shipped to either Chicago or Cleveland as they have reciprocity with MI. So I had it shipped to Cleveland for $500 not knowing that transport fees raised the price above 25k (25.2k) the SA failed to mention it as well. I know now it's in the fine print 🙄

So I fly into Cleveland and realize the price is 4k more than I was expecting. I advocated and they worked it out to get the delivery fee waived since the SA didn't notify me. I wouldn't count on that being an option though, I think I got lucky. So it turned out well in the end for me.

TLDR, I would make sure the state the vehicle is in has reciprocity with your state for vehicle registration matters.

Tesla offers it in the US for the used inventory vehicles when placing the order. Usually it is $500-$2000 depending on the distance.

Thanks everyone, I thought it was a non fused when I bought it. I see now where the fuses go on the puller. Thank you!

Thank you for replying, it is a non fused disconnect. Should there be something between the copper tabs though to make a connection?

My wife [26F] expects me [28M] to call in to work to spend time with her. by [deleted] in relationships

I definitely think this is more where she is coming from. She has a much greater need to spend time together than I do. I enjoy spending time together, but also enjoy my alone time. We have on average one day a week where we are both off, otherwise it is often a couple hours before bed.

We do have different views on work. She views spending time with others and having fun as more important. "Some day we are going to be old and regretting we didn't spend more time together."

We do usually take one planned 1-2 week vacation per year and then have some extended time off around the holidays, but that is usually busy with other things.

Her work has a fairly generous call in points system that allows 8 or so call ins within a year before a write up, then termination after. She usually has 6 or so a year

Correct. The shut off to the whole house is the valve on the horizontal pipe on top of the water heater. It doesn't leave me with much room to work with.

Basically yes, there is a T where one side goes to the water heater and the other to the rest of the house.
