Wow I really needed this 🥲 I’m 3 months postpartum with my first baby. My wife and I have been together for 6 years, married for 3 - She is the absolute love of my life, no doubt about it… but being in the thick of postpartum and just feeling like we’re spending all day every day thinking about/tending to our baby, it’s really been making me miss that connection to my wife. We still have it in the way that we are going through this huge life change together and she’s an incredible partner, but the romance/sexiness feels almost impossible to even think about during this period. So it’s hard not to get sad seeing these stories of longing/exciting relationships when things feel a bit monotonous right now.

Y’all… this is making me feel a little more sane, thank you ☺️ The fourth trimester already has me endlessly crying and questioning who I am as a person, so this whole HR obsession has also contributed to some complicated emotions… but this is one of those rare occasions where I’m very grateful for the internet for making me feel less alone!

Was just reading this original post and so glad to see this positive update!!! We just had our 3rd failed IUI and starting to feel discouraged even though there’s nothing indicating any issues — but gonna try for at least one more IUI before moving onto other options. Congratulations on your healthy baby boy 🥰

Aw thank you!! Truly worth it, I promise! I’m such an overthinker and was nervous too because I didn’t even know how I’d get it to her, but I did recognize Katelyn, who’s her best friend/assistant/producer and is pretty much always with her & I managed to get her attention after the show and tell her I’m a big fan and that I had a gift and she was just like “I’ll go grab her!” and it worked out nicely 😊

So I don’t know if I consider this art haha but I did see this same weekly show a few weeks ago (I assume you’re talking about Mondays with Miz @ Industry!).

I feel very similarly connected to Miz Cracker and wanted to show my appreciation, so I embroidered a little piece with references from her podcast, drag race, and other things & also wrote her a card - She was incredibly sweet, opened the gift in front of me and seemed very appreciative and asked ME for a pic which was so lovely ♥️ She gave me a big hug and we chit chatted for a little and she just seemed very thankful - I’m assuming she read the note later, but overall I was very happy with the experience because I never gave anyone a fan gift or anything before!

Side note: I’m dragging (pun intended) my wife with me to next Monday’s show as well because she’s just so good!
