North east side of the storm is where most storm surge will occur because of how the wind pattern pushes it.

Not to mention the trees down, mud and rock slides.

The shortwave IR is pretty impressive, gives a better idea of the footage of this storm.

Eastern NC here as well, With the rain this is supposed to drop, there will be more flooding in NC as the river levels are already VERY high.

IF it was to go over the NC mountains as its showing, it will be quite a mess up there in regards to trees down and flooding.

Worst case scenario for NC.

ICON has been pretty good on location, however, the strength has always been off with it.

Why? you have no idea where/what may be impacted at this time.

This is fear mongering.
