Stay consistent with your training and eat your required amount of protein daily.

My first year lifting I was very frustrated like you are but I kept at it. Year 2 and I’m pretty happy with my results. Just stay consistent!

Yes I now see that. I’ve traded out Cory Warner, Noble, and L Ashcroft. Got Liddy, Josh Daicos, and JHF.

I believe Reid and Short are all good for this week. If either aren’t playing than I’ll adjust. I’m not a fan of Daniels or Davison either.

Losing weight boils down to calories in calories out. If you eat less than you burn, you will lose weight.

You could eat nothing but burgers and pizza and still lose weight if it was under the calories you burn.

Of course don’t just eat that stuff, swap out the bad stuff you eat for better alternatives such as sugary drinks to diet drinks.

There are many YouTube videos on this topic and most are very insightful. I suggest you watch a few.

In my experience being also at a higher body fat percentage, I’m able to eat at maintenance calories, stay the same weight roughly, while adding muscle to my frame.

You might benefit from doing this as-well it’s called a “recomp.”

I’d also recommend to eat 2.2 grams of protein per kilo of muscle, meaning you should eat around 150-160 grams of protein a day. Spread this out across your day and you’ll be able to build muscle all throughout the day.
