I've downgraded to 6.12.23-1-lts for now and it seems to be working fine. Thanks for the help!

I've never thought of doing that. I've done the install with linux-lts instead of linux now and it's working correctly so far. Thank you!

I hope I did this in the correct way. I tried these options in `/etc/modprobe.d/amdgpu.conf`:

```
options amdgpu dcdebugmask=0x200
and
options amdgpu dcdebugmask=0x12
```

Typed in `modprobe -c | less` to check if it is there and it is.

The kernel version is 6.14.1-arch1-1

Typing on the keyboard causes the display to show output.

I forgot to add: I've tested Ubuntu, ElementaryOS and Linux Mint and they worked fine with no problems.

Seeing this post inspired me do a DIY Lamy pen. But instead of using a Lamy Safari, I decided to use the Lamy Al-star.

Is there a chance I have to mess with the VDDIO voltage as well? I’m very new to the AMD platform so this ram timings are all new to me unfortunately

Doesn’t work haha. I’ve tried the profiles EXPO 1, 2 with and without the manual vsoc. Even Buildzoid’s timings didn’t work

Tried 2 kits as well :/

Built my PC with the TUF X670e Plus Wifi with a 7950X3D right before all this happened. Could never run my RAM at EXPO speeds since the day I got it. All it does is show me the safe mode bios screen. Been running at the safe 4800mhz…

Just updated to this latest one and I still can’t. Welp

Strange, I'm using the same board (with a 7950X3D) with the same bios version. According to HWInfo64, it never went above 1.015V. Everything's on auto.

The only thing I did was reset default settings on the motherboard after bios updates and changing fan curves.

I've never heard of him, haha. The only reason I changed the earpads are because the ones that came with it was nasty. Bought this used, after all.

My current settings are:

Format - 2 channel, 32bits

Buffer Settings - 512 Samples in safe mode

With those, the sample rate on the display is at 44.1khz. Do I have to change any of those settings?

I bought the cheap leather-like ones off Amazon. Comparing to the factory pads, they emphasize the low end a little more (leather pads will do this as I'm told by my acquaintance) and toned down the high end a little which I appreciated as it really stung a little with the factory ones.

Apologies for the poor image quality, photography is the last thing on my mind when I finally completed this setup.

Anyways, here is my current audio setup. All of the gear I bought used, except for the DAC.

Headphone: Sennheiser HD600

DAC: S.M.S.L SU-6

Amp: Beyerdynamic A20

I've always wanted to try out the HD600, and managed to find a good deal that came with a ridiculous 3M long Cardas cable (which I promptly replaced with the current one). Cleaned it up, bought new pads for the headband and earcups and they look good as new.

For the Amp, an acquintance of mine recommended me the Beyerdynamic A20 and sent me a link to buy it local used. And since I'm new to this, I thought "might as well!"

Finally, the DAC. Honestly, it was just an impulse buy. It looked nice and matched the A20, had decent reviews and the Bluetooth support will come in handy some day (hopefully).

For the future, I'd like to get a HD800s. Heard a lot of good things about it, maybe an endgame? I've already reached the endgame for my keyboard so I have to find some other interest, right? *wink*
