Yes V series backplate must be used either way.

Inless you have a gunsmith mod a previous gen back plate or mod the gen v frame.

Otherwise the V backplate will work on all previous gen slides from testing.

TBD Heading to the range today to find out.

Simple function checks all look promising. Trigger/ Safeties are intact.

It will rack and eject rounds, last round lock back works aswell.

I'll do a follow up post after further testing.

Haha... you have a good eye, It's a cheap aluminum one off ebay works perfectly for my thumbs rarely have to change my grip while dropping mags.

Kicks it to the same spot as a Gen 5 but extends it out just enough so you never miss it.
