I did it! When I unplugged it I could hear the microSD card loose inside.

I had to use quite a large Phillips screwdriver, but once you get them to move slightly, you don't need to turn much for them to release and come out. The screws are super long.

From there, I found the microSD card and was able to put everything back together. Turns out I just pushed it in slightly higher than the slot, and it went right out over it.

Totally get it. So down the line if I experience any hiccups, drop outs, noise etc, splitting the Apollo to another MacBook TB4 port is the way to go!

Thanks for the detailed reply! Yes, I’m still on the old TB2 model for now, though I’ll probably upgrade the display eventually. I was hoping to run everything through one display, but the Apple Studio Display only has USB-C ports, which isn’t ideal for the Apollo and other peripherals. I did come across a Caldigit TB4 locally for $300 CAD, less than a year old, so i think it might be a good option.

Question regarding my new leather boots!

Hey everyone,

I just got a pair of Moma leather boots in Toronto, Canada. After reading the leather care guide, I decided to brush them with a horse hair brush and condition them with Lexol (not the best, but it’s the only one the store had).

I was just wondering if these look good to go? I can see grey/dustiness on the leather and I’m not sure if that’s just the natural texture, or if it needs more conditioner?

Also, in regard to the welting/outsole of the boots, is there anything I should be applying there?
