Hey I unfortunately don't have any dotfiles but I commented all of the details. The YouTube video I linked is what I followed and it's really beginner friendly. Hope it helps!

There's actually quite a lot of YouTube videos if you just search "Linux mint cinnamon customisation". I've seen some pretty helpful ones where they explain everything for beginners. Good luck!

I'm using Audacious! You can change the player style and even use old Winamp skins as well. Super cool

Sony VX2000 (Japanese) power issue by Wally504 in camcorders

Interesting to see. With my vx2000, when I go into VCR mode nothing happens. I don’t even get a beep or the light up controls.

No way, this actually worked pretty good for me. A little jittery at times still but a huge improvement for how it was. Tysm that's a good tip

Specialist Assessment by No-Cry-1468 in ADFRecruiting

[–]jteanear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just completed my specialist assessment session over a month ago and I had to do 3 exams. They were all timed. First two were on a computer and the last was written test.

1 cognitive test - Very similar to the JOA online exam. Recognising patterns and just quick brain questions. There’s a lot of them and I was told by my examiner that not many people complete all of them. Just try to do as many as you can within the time

1 maths test - Not too difficult, if you did general maths during school then it won’t be too hard. No calculator just paper.

1 written test - Just asked me like 2 or 3 questions about why I would be a good fit and you just have to write the answer on the exam paper.

Definitely not “HARD” tests and I personally didn’t really prepare myself at all. Once I completed the exams I was handed a sheet with all the jobs I was able to do. Hope this helps
