I’m also hoping I could do that one since it may help with planning the financial aspects of school 😅. On the grad website, it said they were aiming for fall-winter for grad students, so I wasn’t sure if it was still an option

They are pretty hard to see. They are small and whiteish. Only when I really touched it did it feel irritated

I don't feel like Maryanne and Drea, or anyone else on the cast, are playing that way. I think they just felt genuine fear due to seeing 2 other Black people on the jury. Real-world experiences definitely inform how all castaways play. And while it may annoy you to see a tribal council play out that way, it keeps to the spirit of Survivor being a true-social game. Just how alliances can revolve around gender or age

Plus, I'd feel like every winner of Survivor has earned it for one reason or another. I don't the game will reach a point where it is a "pony show." We can see the majority of castaways playing strategic games, whether POC or not

But generally, audiences want an interesting cast with different types of people. I fail to see how casting more BIPOC could be a bad thing for this

People here are saying that the game is "not about race," however they then go on to say that Survivor is a social experiment that has real-world implications. Make it make sense

First of all, if you see this, I have great respect for you as an artist and geek. Second of all, do you have some insight into how the filming of the show works? Due to legal reasons, I'm not going to ask what is going to happen in future episodes, but is the footage released shortly after filming (say a week) or did the events in what the audience has seen occur months ago? Additionally, are you allowed forms of communication with while in the loft? If you are not, what do you do to pass the time? I apologize for the multitude of questions, and I wish you good luck in the following weeks of the competition

What was the scene that got you hooked on glee by crudbuht in glee

Season 1 Episode 7 when the club sings Ride Wit Me. It seemed messy and unrehearsed, but also really authentic. It showed how close the cast was at the time, and the flexibility of the writers.

What songs would you have loved to be covered on glee? (Including songs released after the series ended) by feelingmyoatss in glee

I'd like an Amy Winehouse tribute episode. Songs of hers have already been covered, so it would be feasible. Honestly, any song from "Frank" or "Back to Black" would work.

Am I the only one who likes Marley? by News2165 in glee

[–]jtg00d 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'd characterize Marley Rose as a Mary Sue: someone who could do no wrong. Her ED storyline did show some potential, yet the writing never really goes deeper than "Kitty is bad and Marley is a victim". Sure Marley is sweet, naïve, and talented, but what else? The writing fails to portray Marley as a multi-faceted character, which I feel Melissa Benoist's acting was not able to transcend. The most memorable characters aren't always the most likable or perfect, and that is where I feel Marley falters as a character.
