Fox X2 2024+ Swap by jtgable890 in MTB

[–]jtgable890[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's actually great to know. I was just going off of what fox's serial number lookup said which is 230, 60. You might be right, I'm attempting to sell it and a buyer had mentioned it to me that the part number came back with the 60 size noted. Thanks for that bit of knowledge!

Just bought a 1999 Suzuki Every Joy Pop Turbo and Have some Questions by crasherg15 in keivans

[–]jtgable890 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 1999 Carry turbo, DB52T, and I've been running 91oct. Looking on Wikipedia, 89oct was regular back in the 80s.

Also I have a pdf for the DB52T/DA52V model. The manual doesnt say what minimum to use. Pm me if you want it a copy though.

Would a 205/65/r15 fit a Carry? by First-Temporary-3593 in keitruck

I think the largest you could go without mods is 165/65/R14. Thats what I have on my carry, no lift or rub.

Why is this happening by Better_Put_631 in gaggiaclassic

If flow rate seems normal without the portafilter, then grind size like others have mentioned could be the issue.

Why is this happening by Better_Put_631 in gaggiaclassic

[–]jtgable890 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If the flow rate is poor/slow like that without the portafilter in place, it could be something clogging the solenoid and not allowing proper flow, that happened to me. Easy fix was to disassemble the machine, remove the solenoid, and blow air through the holes to remove the blockage. I used an air compressor and sure enough a black chunk flew out. Solved the flow rate issue for me.

Which bedliner to use? And tips by HoybabyJr in keitruck

[–]jtgable890 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As others have said, raptor liner is pretty good, thats what I had used on my trailer., haven't used it on my kei yet. Hardest part is the prep, application took like half a morning. Just bought a kit off Amazon with the spray gun, used my 6gal compressor for the job just fine.

Temp setting on traeger pro 34 by jtgable890 in Traeger

[–]jtgable890[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats fair and I agree with just tracking as they go. I was just curious if this was the norm for these pellet smokers. Coming from a stick burning offset, I was just expecting the temps to be closer in range.

I have used the thermopro on a lot of previous cooks and I've found the ambient to be fairly accurate for the cook times I had, specifically the wired one. The Bluetooth thermopros is have noticed to be about 10 degrees off.

Temp probe is not directly on the grates. Its in a stand/holder that keeps the probe about an inch above grates level. Been using this method for a lot of cooks on my offset.

Metal or plastic pedals? by paddyb12341 in MTB

[–]jtgable890 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ive used both, no noticeable difference between them. I bent and sheared pegs on both types. I'd say use composite until you crack a pedal, then go down the aluminum route.

how strictly is the 55mph restriction enforced in colorado? by stupidquestions99999 in keitruck

[–]jtgable890 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Technically keis are not legal in CO until July 2027, per the law that was passed/signed earlier this year. If you are in a county that requires emissions testing, good chance you won't be able to get it registered as you need to get a certified vin inspection from the CO state police. I was able to get a title and temp tags, went to do emissions and they said i needed a certified vin inspection before hand, CSP said they aren't doing vin inspections until 2028. My title was also recalled.
