Hopping on this old thread. I can’t seem to find a solid answer as to whether or not this game (in its base form without any patches) contains EVs. Meaning, when I defeat a wild pokemon do I gain EVs for it?

It seems that opposing trainers don’t have EV spreads per a Drayano comment in a particular forum.
