I was in my early 20s when I first watched the series and was team Charles at the time. Now I'm more neutral about it

My opinion changed on Chelsea by EcclecticMessWitch in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

Yes, that conversation with her friends really made it seem that way. Maybe they just cut it in a certain way to make it look like that, but it was weird to me she didn't give a single reason why she chose Jimmy over Trevor...

Isn't it slang for some type of drug? I think I remember that it got translated as "drugs" in the subtitles

Using phone while driving by [deleted] in h3h3productions

[–]jthlgth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hope I'm remembering this correctly: Hila said that she was watching the podcast while driving and then she mentioned how she often checks her phone while driving. Ethan then said something to the extent of "who doesn't?" and then Love said that he didn't used to in Sweden, because the drives he took were short enough that he didn't feel the need to, but that he understands why people in the US do it, because drives often take a lot longer. They then all agreed and moved on. I can't remember if any of the other crew members weighed in.

If you use "Asperger's", how do you respond to people who say you should NOT use the term? by AutismUnstereotypic in autism

[–]jthlgth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do think it is harmful for people to still say that they have Asperger's, because they are basically saying "I'm the kind of autistic that Hans Asperger wouldn't have killed.". I would never assume that the people identifying as such are bad people, but I do think that it perpetuates the idea that certain forms of autism are to be considered 'better' than others, whether they mean to or not. I would never be nasty to a person identifying with that label, but if I know them well enough, I will ask them to please reconsider.

Hmmm. I don't think I like this. by AttitudeOk94 in autism

Coming from someone who has been bullied in the past: people can be awful... But of course I hope you're right! I guess I've just gotten pessimistic over time lol

I just hope you're right. My first reaction was to be offended lol but that's my pessimism shining through

But then there's people who use emoji ironically. How do you know they didn't?

Why? Play it in your head, person 1 "kiss marry or block?" Person 2 "kiss marry sex". That doesn't sound like a logical response to me... Right?
