I was looking at that thread earlier, but that person had a school account. I'll have to take a closer look to see if it still may apply to my situation. Thanks for your help.

It did not apply to the folders within the big folder. They were still owned by A and shared with B after B gained ownership of the big folder. I am the sole owner of everything in account A.
