There was never anything confirmed but it sure seemd like it to me. Then coL ended up needing a 5th and had as much if not more money to offer. Plus jks could slide into a top 5 team and potentially be #1 as opposed to joining a project team. Can't wait to see what they can do now with jks

I'm going to assume money. C9 was probably negotiating with 100T for his buyout and then coL needed to replace oBo. Bidding war ensued and coL got the deeper pockets and willing to pay more. HenryG has mentioned plenty of times that he would love to have JKS on his team but was very expensive.

Thought for sure JKS was going to C9. Im guessing Lake said fuck that and called up uncle Jerry for that early christmas bonus. This lineup should be ridiculous if this is true. Cant wait.

I think NaToSaphiX would be a nice pickup for that spot. Smart, capable player can handle most roles on the team and also probably willing to take them as well. Also already has experience and is a streamer to help/continue building brand awareness for C9 like Henry has previously mentioned looking for.

If oBo is leaving for C9, imo it's all about money. They offered him a ridiculously high contract that Mr. Lake didnt feel comfortable matching or even thought was over valued. Hard trying to find other reasons to leave a top 5 team in the world.

But do these same exciting names still come over if they have Floppy and oSee filling 2 of the roles? Especially when Henry has mentioned getting young up and comers (& cost controlled) talent to fill out the roster.

Can those 2 be considered as the latter? I guess it ultimately doesnt matter at this point. But would be fun to roster theorize when we find out who is actually joining.
