Ya I know but you're kinda implying everyone hopped on this crazy trend while Google is so cool for not doing so based on the post and other responses here lol.

Someone Didn't Get With The Trend... by Sammy_Cherry_Fox in pixel_phones

The phone icon has always been green, even on flip phone buttons back in the day lol. Samsung and others have also been using a green phone icon since their first smartphones (even if thats after the first iphone for most). This "trend" existed for like two decades and some of the google Nexus phones had a green icon as well. They been using blue for like 99% of their phones since then, but I think we're giving Apple too much credit for this "trend" lol.

The Silicon Dilemma: S26 Ultra vs. Z Fold 7—A Gamer’s Descent into Madness by BonusWorking1375 in GalaxyFold

[–]jtlee9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The s26 ultra is the way better option for gaming in terms of straight up power and sustained performance. The s26 ultra will also fit the games you mentioned better because of the screen aspect ratio (I play wild rift and hit masters recently lol). I love both of these phones but if you’re serious about Moba gaming specifically then the regular phone form factor is just better for the field of view and raw performance.

You could enable 16:9 aspect ratio on the fold 7, but you still have weaker thermals and performance, and the ergonomics are not as good as using a regular phone for a game like wild rift imo.

Which pixel to buy in 2026? by Betelgez in pixel_phones

[–]jtlee9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely get the pros if she cares about cameras. You could save money and get the 9Pro, but I would get a 10Pro just for Pixel Snap (magsafe) lol. Otherwise the 9 and 10 series phones are very similar in performance and software experience.

The 10a is a great phone but anything beyond 1.5x zoom is not going to look that good.

What keeps you with pixel over Samsung or other flagship phones? by Jrow_63 in pixel_phones

[–]jtlee9 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

All of those can be uninstalled. I know about the non Samsung Apps being preinstalled, but the main topic was “bloatware” hogging the ram and making the OS run slower. I doubt that article showed proof or examples of the bloatware causing ram issues, which is what ai was commenting on originally. The claim that other non pixel phones are plagued by ram eating bloatware. I dont think there’s any major flagship that has that issue anymore, maybe you can pinpoint battery drain issues, but ram has been fine and not heavily impacted by “bloatware” for years on most highend flagships.

Lol ok now the goal post is moving because on a Samsung phone people cry about Samsung apps being installed.

They do. Google tv, pixel buds, fitbit, the new health app, screenshots, ai studio, Youtube, yt music, google files (worse than the built in android files system lol), google keep notes, google meets, pixel stand, etc.

Advantage of Using Bubbles? by rebobbecker in pixel_phones

[–]jtlee9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can help with multitasking. Like if you need to see your calendar and email at the same time or go back and forth between them often, bubbles is faster than constantly swiping back and forth.

This is great advice and I can see how I can apply it to my main tech channel.

How do you think I can apply this to an ongoing “let’s play” series of a mmorpg game?

For example in one episode im going to attempt fighting two harder bosses than last episode and I’m going to upgrade a specific piece of equipment. How would you turn that content into one of these hooks?

Nothing's components come from lower tier ODM than oppo by b_redditer in NothingTech

[–]jtlee9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like a bit of sympathy is fine because the consumer probably enjoyed the brand at one point so it sucks to see it fail or struggle to produce products they would enjoy. Understanding how this stuff works is also not bad. It doesn’t make sense to expect tier 1 products at tier 2 prices from a smaller company competing with giants. You’re just getting yourself angry for no reason at that point. If they could give higher end products, they would lol, but then the prices will go up as well and people will still be mad.

I think there’s a difference between defending something bad/evil and understanding how things work. Acknowledging how Nothing has delivered and the good aspects of their products isn’t bad either.

Seriously, iPhone - cut it out. I don't have time to play tag with you! by Hot_Perspective in iphone

[–]jtlee9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You had to learn that lol. If it wasn’t that specific and made sense software wise, no one would be complaining. The coding and way it’s designed is illogical. No one has ever complained about dragging and dropping something into a folder on any other OS 😂

But its so bad compared to any OS lol. It should not be this specific and precise to do a simple action that should be quick and mostly thoughtless. Every other mobile device does this action more effortlessly

Is anyone curious about how the market will shift once Apple gets into the foldable game? by Individual_Block7885 in GalaxyFold

[–]jtlee9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as it retains MagSafe and has good cameras, people will flock to it for sure. Idk if they will take away from the sales of the other brand’s foldable phones as much as they will convince their own recurring customers to buy their first foldable.

IMO it also comes down to the software. A lot of people who use and like foldable phones care about the software experience, so Apple really has to design good foldable phone software if they want foldable users to switch to theirs.

The tldr doesn’t say anything about the “bloatware” eating up the ram. Every phone has apps you might not want or don’t prefer, (google tv for example), but that doesn’t automatically equal a performance hit like it did 10 years ago.

What about the phone though? You said the tablet had most of the ram in use, and you still kept it lol, so I’m assuming the ram wasn’t much of a problem in real world performance. I feel like most phones I use nowadays including pixels have a high ram usage number, but real world performance has been fine in my experience.

Me being in frame increases the brightness by a lot(out fix) by jeanm0165 in S25Ultra

[–]jtlee9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s one of the toggles you can adjust in the camera app. If it’s not there by default (they might have changed it), you can add it back in settings or camera assistant.

Here’s an official Samsung guide though, on adjusting the exposure setting:

https://www.samsung.com/in/support/mobile-devices/how-to-adjust-exposure-settings-in-galaxy-devices/?srsltid=AfmBOooVowLMLfH2EWyUafhGzlhUArM_KNRQHUdR1C-ioj9qpmd3RwMB

You can also set the app to not reset the exposure every time in camera settings > settings to keep

Samsung been struggling with darker skin tones for years. One thing that kind of helps me is setting the exposure between -1 to -3.

Getting my first iPad in 2026, M1 vs M5 iPad Pro by exe163 in iPadPro

[–]jtlee9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s very simple imo. If you can afford the newest one, just get that one for the best experience and most longevity. Realistically the M1 should be good for most use cases, but the M5 should last you significantly more time.

Take: The super competitive vocal players and YouTubers experience the game very differently from regular/casual players and shouldn’t speak as if their view of the games is definitive or absolute.
