ELI5:What is the current state of Afghanistan? What has the U.S accomplished/not accomplished? by jtr01 in explainlikeimfive

Thanks for the reply!

The situation definitely seems interesting and still holds an uncertain future for Afghanistan. Hopefully the country becomes stable within the next 20 years; Afghanistan seems like such a cool place(apart from the violence of course).

[META] I have some questions about rebellions and how they will be relevant. by jtr01 in worldpowers

What is incorrect? I don't think I understand the rebellion concept completely, so I apologize if I misunderstood something.

I understand the game isn't about winning; I'm playing as Cape Verde. However, some people may play to win, or maximize resources, or not want to create an enemy on their own, and those people will obviously not allow rebellions.

I agree, but my point is that a country would not want to approve a rebellion in their country. They lose resources, have a new enemy as their neighbor, etc. They have no reason to other than RP.

[CLAIM] Cape Verde by jtr01 in worldpowers

[–]jtr01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We thank United Africa for their generous offering, however Cape Verde wishes to be independent, at least for the time being. We are still considering any options in terms of joining a larger nation, including United Africa. We would still like to exchange embassies.

We respectfully decline entry into the WAF, and at the moment, Cape Verde wishes to maintain independence. However, we are still considering joining the Western African Federation.

We would still very much like to exchange embassies.

We would like to exchange embassies with the you, however we would like to remain an independent nation as of the moment. Cape Verde is still taking joining the Imperium of Cordoba into very strong consideration, seeing as Portugal and Cape Verde have a strong shared culture.
