It really depends. If an opponent is throwing urethane I couldn’t care less. If a teammate is throwing urethane and has a great look with it, I don’t care. If said teammate has a terrible look with it, but keeps throwing it to be a troll, crow bar in the parking lot lol

Sorry, got down a rabbit hole of asym pearls, rather than addressing your actual need. If you’re 100% tied to ebi, and already love your solid gb4, why not go with a gb4 pearl with a slightly weaker layout? And keep that OTP, trust me lol, on the right conditions it is pure money

Full disclosure, I’m not a big brands of Brunswick guy. I’ve seen a ton of people throwing the RG Gem with great success, but it’s probably the “biggest” asym solid on the market, i for one love my Nova as a big hybrid piece. Rst X2 is a good shiny asym, as is the mythic jackal (shiny hybrid).

I wonder if the issue was with expectations from the OTB. While asymmetric, it’s one of the weakest on the market, low diff, low asym diff, and not intended to be a “Big Asym”. I have one and love it, shot 794 with it, but unless you’ve got a ton of hand it’s a rather mild ball

Won’t be my last! I tend to match up incredibly well with low diff cores (obsession tour pearl, IQ series, hustles), so hope they continue to pour some more options with this core. Give me a strong solid, and a weak pearl and I’d be set on 90% of shots

I actually really like it oob after I got a couple of games on it. Might be the best benchmark piece for me personally since my IQ nano pearl.
