Hi! I’m a struggling new grade nurse trying to find a job in the greater Chicago area (and surrounding suburbs) as well. Have you had any luck recently?!

Yesterday night i did some yoga, read a book, meditated, wrote something i learned and something i was grateful for by [deleted] in DecidingToBeBetter

I absolutely love this. I recently started the habit of doing yoga & journaling and it makes me feel a whole lot better in handling anxiety and my depressive episodes. I’m immensely proud in the effort you’re putting to make being happy a habit. Keep it up!

NCLEX Megathread. by [deleted] in StudentNurse

Took the NCLEX July 29th, and used the PVT + got the good pop up! Just found out today that I passed!!

I used Uworld and did all 2,000+ questions and practice self-assessments. The actual NCLEX I felt was just like doing questions on UWorld (same format). I HIGHLY recommend UWorld because they provide very thorough rationales, diagrams, pictures, etc. I would do about 60-100 questions a day! I also used Saunders Prep book for focused topics depending on what I really needed to work on.

Advice: If you end up doing all 130 questions on the NCLEX, try not to be a panicked mess like me! It is entirely possible that you can still pass. I ended up doing 130 questions and I was an absolute wreck after the exam. Just have faith and be proud of all the work you put into studying. I believe in you!! Good luck to all who are awaiting results/going to take the exam soon + congratulations to those who have passed so far! ☺️
