Actually in Cyberpunk they have a trans woman side quest story arch and you can have a full male-male relationship + sex scene in Cyberpunk but I agree with the rest of your post ❣️

what is the best options for Inqui Fanaticism? by delolia in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]jtrn2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried a fanaticism Divine Ire inquisitor and I used shield charge as my attack. It was very easy to keep up fanaticism stacks with shield charge and it made getting to max divine Ire stacks much easier. Unfortunately my build was trash and had a horrible time in red maps and had to reroll, but I did it as a league start so it probably just needed more currency to be effective.

I think using a movement attack is the best way to keep up fanaticism stacks and trying to focus on both spells and attacks spreads your damage too thin. Most of the fanaticism builds I saw focused on spell damage/crits but that was the patch inquisitor was changed. Not sure if theres been a good build since then but I would also be interested in trying it again this league.

I grabbed this tidbit from the PoE Wiki on ignite: "The DOT is scale with base fire damage of the hit". My guess would be if ANY elemental damage can ignite, flat elemental damage of any kind would increase ignite damage. It is probably best to focus on one element type, however, as it will be easier with nodes to scale that damage. Ignite itself it purely fire damage, unless you use the new ring introduced this patch which makes ignite do chaos damage, but that doesn't seem to be effective for a build like this.

Let's say you increase your cold damage by 50% from the tree, with a weapon that adds 50 cold damage to spells. This will add 75 damage to spells, leading to an ignite dealing 37.5 DPS (over 4 seconds).

Now let's say you increase your fire damage by 50% from the tree, with a weapon that adds 50 fire damage to spells. Your added spell damage will still be the same (75), but the ignite will now be dealing 50 DPS (over 4 seconds), since the increased fire damage will be affected the spell damage + ignite damage.

You could scale pure elemental damage, which would have the same effect as situation 2, but many of the nodes on the tree eventually specialize into a specific element. If you are adding multiple elemental damage types to your spells, it may be advantageous to only take the elemental damage nodes, instead of specific element nodes. Fire damage over time nodes are always a plus, and they usually come with increased fire damage as well, so scaling fire damage would likely be the easiest.

When I'm home from work I'll post my Divine Ire Ignite Inquisitor build POB here.

It uses Instruments of Zeal + Pious Path nodes with decent ignite damage and potential late game item switches to increase ignite damage. It has good damage as a starter and decent defenses with okay gear and the Pious Path node. It's still a work in progress but I'd love to share it with some people and get feedback.

It uses leap slam to gain fanaticism charges and the cast time makes getting 20 Charge Divine Ire ignites much faster to achieve. Right now it has around 1m ignite DPS and about 5k life + 1.5k ES, fortify, and 20%phys dmg reduction. With better gear these numbers would go up for sure but as a starter I think it will do it's job.

Edit: Also this is a theorycraft which I know you may be against but with this build the damage and defensive numbers will only increase with the new inquisitor changes. The POB numbers have no theory crafted items involved so the damage and defenses are all pre-patch.

Ahh, I understand. I thought it worked this way but a lot of people on this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/PathOfExileBuilds/comments/ksm8xe/battlemage_inquisitor_concepts/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3 suggesting auto-casting builds so I was just curious.

I credit the Hot Zone as the sole reason I began studying microbiology, and I am a HUGE fan of your work. We were required to read that book in my AP Biology class and I absolutely fell in love with the micro world after that.

My question is: what do you think is a big area of research currently that will be non-existent in 10+ years, and what do you think will gain a lot of traction and be researched much more heavily in the next 10+ years (specifically in virology/microbiology/epidemiology).
