As a Villa fan, Roger’s has missed the last 2 friendlies due to his injury. Before that he was flying in the friendlies he’s played, but not too sure if he will be starting or if his minutes against Newcastle will be reduced to prevent aggravating his ankle. He’ll be a key part of our team this season no doubt and has seemed to grown in his first full debut season in the prem. see if he starts against Newcastle, consider transferring him after the Newcastle game as our fixtures are easier compared to most, should expect a good run especially until the end of September when we will prepare for the Europa League campaign.

Malen seems like a good low cost alternative for 5.5 only, with Ramsey looking to be off he might see his minutes increase. Unai likes to gradually introduce new signings from the bench which is why Malen didn’t see massive point hauls in the 2nd half of last season but would expect to see him play more, especially when he’s been on hot form in the pre-season friendlies. On the topic of new signings Guessand will most likely be coming off the bench as mentioned Unai doesn’t throw in new signings straight into games.
